LOOMIA - Data Collecting Textile Circuitry

in blockchain •  7 years ago

The world today is transforming digitally, and you can now have everything on the internet. Even your personal data are now digital. As everything in this world has two sides this advanced technologies also have both negative and positive side. On one side where you no need to carry physical data as you can find everything on your phone, on another side, these data are in passwords or numbers form thus anybody can pretend to be you. The Loomia tile is all set with the use of most advanced technology called blockchain. It is a decentralised platform which will have our personal data or identification in our clothes itself. Yes, even I couldn't believe when I heard this for first but technology and human minds have made this possible. The Loomia tile will have the soft flexible circuit which will be poked into our clothes and this circuit will act as a sensor which will track more personal data than those basic data. So now I can easily have my own identity and without any fear of being used by others. The platform also has many other advantages let's have a look.

What is the project all about?

The Loomia is a decentralised open protocol which supports multi-factor identity verification using the advanced technology called blockchain. The platform fills the gap between the physical world and the digital world by recognizing that the physical you is the digital you through various verification system. The Loomia has three core parts called the Loomia electrical layer (LEL), the Loomia tile and the tile platform which all together allows the data exchange on this platform. The Loomia electrical layer is the soft flexible circuit which is fitted into our clothes and it acts as a sensor that could sense heat, light and other sensing functions of the user. The Loomia tile recognizes the fingerprint to verify that the digital you is physical you. The tile platform is the decentralised app which acts as the storage of the collected data. The Loomia data exchange is the marketplace where any organisation could directly connect to user to collect their data for product or service improvement. This data is really important and this companies use it for their profits. Sometimes companies claim ownership to this data and sell it to large corporations thus Loomia will prevent all this by providing easy, accessible and secure platform to the users.

Features of the project.

  • Peer to peer service.

  • Loomia electric layer (LEL).

  • Multifactor identity verification.

  • Soft flexible service.

  • Loomia tile.

  • Loomia data exchange.

  • Decentralised data storage

  • Decentralised data app.

  • Multiple users sharing same tile.

  • Data encryption.

  • Firmware installation.

  • Blockchain security.

Problem and its unique solution by the Loomia tile.

I think in today's world the personal data of any person, is easy to get as everyone has their data on the internet or at any other digital source. This personal data is really helpful to large companies or small businesses to know the feedback of the users. This personal data are sole by other third party to this organisations. The Loomia has done the wonderful job by creating peer to peer service where our personal data will only belong to us and only we could sell it to this organisations. Instead of others getting profit from selling your data, you will be able to sell it directly to the organizations without any third party interference. Can you believe that you are going to get profit in being just you? The companies who want to know more about how we often use their products or when we use can use this platform to directly connect with us. The Loomia solved such a great of security related to our personal data.

The TILE token.

The tile is the token which we will use to interact with the platform. It is the key to access to the tile platform. It is an Ethereum based and could be easily transferred by the users. These tokens could be also be converted into STORJ tokens via smart contracts. If any company needs to know that how many people wear their shoes or jackets and at which time then to know this data they need to spend tile tokens. If we as a user gets good score on our identity ratings then smart contract will reward us.

People behind the project.

The whole project is not the work of the single person, but it is the united and team of professionals who made such a great project possible. Some of the main people behind the project are Sol Lederer, Madison Maxey, Ezgi Ucar, Janatt Liriano and Marco Paul. These are all the founders and co-founders of the project who used thought to bridge gap between physical world and the digital world.

Conclusion.

According to me the platform is boon to both the personal data holder and the companies who need this data as they both are getting their profits without any third party interference. Have you ever thought that our garments platform like Loomia will make such a device which will not just collect basic personal data but also will be able to track heat, body temperature all related to the garments. The Loomia has created smart products by combining physical and digital world. Thus Loomia tile is the platform which is making us all future ready as our future is going to be digital.
