In the new year, DLT research at the University of Kassel continues to pick up speed. With strong support from the entrepreneur Otto Philipp Braun ( BTC-ECHO reported ) occupies the 20 subject areas comprehensive DLT research group to 15.02.2018 five posts with a research focus in the basics and applications of Distributed Ledger Technology (Blockchains, crypto currencies, Smart Contracts)
The fact that five new PhD positions should be created shows the importance of blockchain technology at the university. It is important for universities to participate actively in the blockchain discourse and to contribute to further developing the technology and creating the right framework conditions.
