It is built on Ethereum and integrated with the 0x protocol and it is providing p2p margin funding and trading. This will integrate with existing wallets and switch your existing Ethereum wallet into a decentralized unBank account.
Problem & Solution
The problem where decentralized exchange addresses that they still deal their trades on centralized exchanges. Individuals who are looking to engage in margin lending or trading are still forced to convey their liquidity to centralized token and coin exchanges. It leads to additional form of counterparty risk where third party threaten the assets of an investor. So, this centralized exchange leads to counterparty risk which is being faced by lenders and borrowers.
The solution where bZx come up with their decentralized exchange and make it possible through smart contracts. They are providing decentralized margin trading which offers Minimal Risk, Passive Income and Lower Fees. Minimal Risk where lender or borrower will stay in control of their keys and not to worry about exchanges getting hacked or steal. Passive Income where you can make money with the assets you already holding in your wallet. It lowers the interest rate fees where lending makes trading more affordable.
Components
bZx.js Library – It is an asynchronous JavaScript library that contains all the functions which is being needed to interact with bZx smart contracts on-chain. Relays and exchanges will use this library to build an interface for margin lending and trading on bZx which provide value-added services to their customers.
bZx Portal – It is a web-based decentralized application which serves as a frontend to the bZx protocol, utilizes bZx.js library and offers one-stop shop to individuals who are looking to interact with the protocol for margin trading and lending. This will also provide all the information about the lender and trader actions on their protocol.
bZx Smart Contracts – This will help to facilitate on-chain margin lending, monitoring and liquidity of ERC token trades. In short this will provide safer lending, cheaper trading and more liquidity.

Tom Bean – Founder & CEO – He has spent over 15 years developing and leading teams. He was lead developer at HERE, a multi-billion-dollar consortium of German car companies which specializing in GPS technology. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Computer Engineering before later receiving his MBA.
Adrian Li – Senior Developer – He is a Mechanical Engineer, Author, Lawyer and Developer. He has worked as a technical consultant for multiple YCombinator and Techstars companies like Trusu, branch8, Robin and Syncspot.
Kyle Kistner – CVO & Operations Lead – He did MSc in Computational & Molecular Biology. PhD track dropout. He’s having expertise in Microeconomics. He has been following blockchain with an academic interest since 2011.

The Social Media hype is low, and they are not much active on their Telegram Group.
The Website is explained in detail and well-structured. The Whitepaper is also explained in a well-structured way but hard to understand because of using more technical term.
There are 8 core members in the leadership team who are having experience and expertise in or as IT & Software, Web Developer, Microeconomics, Lawyer, Banking, Decentralized and Blockchain Technology. There are no advisors behind this project.
