Asking for KYC is pretty much an industry standard, as for the proof of keys event I didn't have issues withdrawing my coins back in January, but that could be just me.
I got the impression this past pok wasn't as heartfelt as previous ones, though people still participated, there wasn't as much drawback from exchanges, coinbene, hitbtc and binance were much better this year compared to last year issues.
The article the guy refers to at 7:55 is an article that got taken down from medium due to how biased it was against a platform, it got considered innecessary fud and treated accordingly. Maybe we should thread carefully with these over the top reviews
I'm from the US so I should've stayed away, after depositing some funds and going through KYC I realized I was fucked, I opened a support ticket and they told me not to worry, soon afterwards I was able to retrieve my money, just not able to use the platform for trading.
The video got taken down, is youtube being wonky against crypto platforms once again? You can tell how biased it was just by looking at the title, still, not a reason to take it down imo
"pull some nonsense on you"
