Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence in Real Estate Industry

According to local media Netherlands Computable reported, Netherlands Land Registration Authority (Dutch Land Registry, also known as Kadaster) is considering the blockchain integration and artificial intelligence technology to the real estate industry.

Cohen Hui Hostetter (Koen Huisstede) is a Dutch enterprise architect Land Registration Authority, he said the agency is studying the block chain and artificial intelligence techniques how to support the real estate business operations, and forecast to develop over the next one to three years a zone Blockchain operating platform.

The mission of the Netherlands Land Registry is to manage real estate ownership, mortgages, and various external data related to the Dutch real estate market. It is reported that the agency hopes to use blockchains to help improve problems in its technical, legal, and governance areas, and then build a more flexible organization and business processes.

Specifically, Cohen Wheatd said the Netherlands Land Registry hopes to implement artificial intelligence technology to create a predictable business model of cognitive systems, and will deploy blockchain technology in data management.

In fact, this is not the first time that Dutch government agencies have tried blockchain technology. As early as November 2016, 16 Dutch state-owned companies and private companies formed a blockchain technology alliance to discuss how to apply this emerging technology to the logistics field. In April this year, the Dutch government also announced cooperation with the United Nations to explore the application potential of blockchain technology in the legal field.
