A nice article and well written. :-)
You make some very valid points.
I'm new to the whole blockchain and crypto-thingy world, and all this talk of anarchy is actually quite off-putting.
I've been in countries where there is little effective government, where the people are essentially free because there is no-one to tell them what to do.
I'm very glad I live where I do.
One way to look at this, is think of the early days of the interweb... I started using it to chat to people all over the world because I was interested in that.
then this lovely communication tool got overtaken by Lolcats. but now it is returning to a mass communication tool again.
The blockchain is like that. It's very young, and still learning what it actually is. Soon the cats will try and take it over. they will have their day and then it will move on and become more.
In the early days only geeks when online. Now my parents who are in the 70s are all over it!
Now that's a scary world!
