Yes and no. I still want Steem to succeed, and some of the observations above can be added to Steem. As it currently stands, yeah.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
