I owe it all to the Steem Blockchain

My narrative is without sugar-coating...

Before Steem, the only cryptocurrency I knew was Dash. A 9 to 5 job isn't good for anyone who wants to be self sufficient, except if your job pays you ten times more than your expenses per month or year respectively.

Unfortunately, few jobs pays like this, hence before Steem, it was a roller coaster ride. I took a leap of faith and quit my job late 2016, then my cousin had tasked me to go and research on Dash which I was doing but slowly, then he introduced me to Steem early 2017.

I didn't take it serious till March, I was busy trying to make an Idea I had conceived with a formal colleague work, a startup IT firm which was so slow in starting, maybe lack of Capital or good business plan. But the slow start made me took Steeming serious by the end of the first quarter of 2017.

Then, it all started happening after hosting a meetup, then charities events, donations and giveaways through my @steem-lagos initiative, not that I made chunk of money out of Steem, but I have a task to touch lives around me with the tiny resources have got.

My knowledge about cryptocurrency and Blockchain is still not advanced as I wanted but I think I have amassed a handful of lessons.

First, the Steem Blockchain was my Gateway into the Cryptospace, that alone is a jackpot. Secondly, I have learnt about wealth and asset management, how to manage resources and use it to make more. Thirdly, the bearmarket thought me not to speculate too much and spend too much, statistics do go wrong at times and history always dissapont in repeating itself.

With this summary, I strongly believe I owe it all to the Steem Blockchain, and I wish it fulfill its brilliant potentials.
