Leaks

We're not dead - we're not going anywhere.

During this past month, Gary and I have been spending our spare time digging into a new direction: the dark side of crypto. More recently, we suspended all operations to take a steady peek into information that was brought to our attention, as well as data uncovered by our team. This digging has lead to a critical realization: What is our next step to "drain the swamp" when it comes to nefarious activity on the blockchain? Governments, Cartels, Private Business, Foreign Actors, and even small groups of hackers are using cryptocurrency as a vessel for wrongdoing. This is not a guess, this is fact.

Last week, we posted a deadman key on Twitter in order to securely send out a data drop in the event of any issues here at CryptoCriterion. We did this just in time; moments later we received massive DDOS attacks from several locations around the world. Let's just say the locations were not the normal ones that you would think of when milling over the origin for an attack. Between this attack, and very weird, scary, and non-coincidental real-life events; we have decided to proceed in one of two ways. Our decision lies on whether to reveal this information publicly, or whether we should attempt to coordinate with authorities. The problem here lies in who exactly is complicit in the above-mentioned activity. Weigh in with your thoughts below, and we will be sure to follow the consensus.
