Japanese IT Giant Fujitsu Launches Blockchain-Based Rewards System for Retail

In an official announcement, the Japanese IT giant, Fujitsu reveals the new system is already active in Japan. It is integrated with promotional activities in retails sector like stamps, coupons and digital points. The service also allow customers to collect digital points by scanning OR codes within area and make use of its benefits and coupons.

Noticeably, the Fujitsu’s hybrid blockchain keeps the records of data usage and collected information. In addition, the firm says, it helps to reduce the workload of a traditional data center and enables for better data analysis.

The official announcement reads:

By connecting events and promotions held in tourist areas or shopping centers with this service. However users can improve the rate at which they attract customers and increase their willingness to buy. At the same time, they can also more effectively set strategies for regional revitalization. Thus based on the activity patterns of users seen in the analysis results, and on such factors as the use of the coupons and other benefits

Moreover, the service will be exhibited Fujitsu Intelligent Society Solution Blockchain Asset Service at Interop Tokyo 2018, held in Makuhari Messe, Japan on 13th to 15th June.
