Ich bin Biologe, habe aber auch schon in vielen anderen Bereichen gearbeitet. Zurzeit bin ich dafür verantwortlich, Vorbereitungssemester durchzuführen sowie Biologie- und Chemieeingangstests für ausländische Studierwillige zu erstellen, deren Heimatabitur in Deutschland nicht anerkannt ist. Bestehen sie meine Prüfungen (zusammen mit Mathematik- und Physiktests) dürfen sie ein naturwissenschaftliches Studium an einer deutschen Hochschule aufnehmen.

Während der letzten Tage und Wochen liefen die schriftlichen und danach mündlichen Abschlussprüfungen der Studenten, was insgesamt sehr viel Zeit in Anspruch nahm.

Gründe dafür, weshalb ich aufhören will, gibt es mehrere.

Zunächst ist es ganz grundsätzlich so, dass ich selbst darüber bestimmen will, was ich wann arbeite (ob ich überhaupt gerade arbeiten will oder nicht). Es geht mir um ein maximal selbstbestimmtes Leben - es fiel mir schon immer schwer, mich nach von anderen vorgegebenen Rhythmen zu richten.
Dazu kommt, dass mir die Art und Weise wie Arbeitswelt heutzutage häufig funktioniert (das m. E. extrem schädliche Motto "Hauptsache schnell und billig" wird dem Streben nach Qualität vermehrt übergeordnet) überhaupt nicht schmeckt. Zahlreiche aufeinander folgende, mit spürbaren Qualitätseinbußen einhergehende Sparmaßnahmen der hiesigen Uni, ohne dass sich die Unileitung ernsthaft argumentativ mit den betroffenen Mitarbeitern auseinandergesetzt hätte, haben das Fass zum Überlaufen gebracht.
Noch eine Woche, dann mache ich für ein Jahr unbezahlte Elternzeit. Falls ich mich (und meine Familie) durch Investitionen in Kryptowährungen, Aktivitäten auf Steemit und Sportwetten finanziell gut genug versogen können sollte, werde ich die Arbeit nach der Pause nicht wieder aufnehmen.
Auch darüber auszuwandern denke ich nach.

We will see how he is doing this time, sir, most of the previous victories were successful. After all this world cup has done more than surprise us.

I trust that most of the teams that we can see here, are the winners. I would say that France could go 3-2 with Uruguay, as well as a bigger result between Brazilians and Belgians. We already saw what they are capable of doing when they find themselves in trouble, in a 2-0.

Die einzige Wette, bei der ich mittippe ist die bei uns auf Arbeit unter den Kollegen. Jeder hat €10,- einbezahlt und am Ende wird der Betrag and den Gewinner ausbezahlt. Ich habe nicht so viel Ahnung von Fußball, aber mein WM-Sieger, den wir am Anfang festlegen mussten, ist Belgien. Sieht bisher nicht so schlecht für die und mich aus, oder? 😉
Egal, jedenfalls wünsche ich dir viel Glück bei deiner Fussballwette und deinen zukünftigen beruflichen Entscheidungen! ✊🏻

Sicherlich wird es (und gab es schon) Spiele mit mehr Toren geben, aber man kann ja nicht 2:1, 3:1, 2:0, 3:0 und 3:2 usw. gleichzeitig tippen. :)
Die Einzelwahrscheinlichkeiten für jedes dieser Ergebnisse sind jedoch nicht höher als die für das 'banale' 1:0, sondern niedriger (schau dir einfach mal die Häufigkeiten der verschiedenen möglichen Ergebnisse bei der bisherigen WM an, dann siehst du, dass das 1:0 das bei Weitem häufigste - und damit wahrscheinlichste - Ergebnis war).

Das bedeutet natürlich nicht, dass die theoretischen Wahrscheinlichkeiten bei einer statistisch so kleinen Stichprobe auch tatsächlich eintreten werden (genauso wenig, wie stets genau einmal die Nummer "6" auftritt, wenn du sechsmal würfelst, obwohl das statistisch gesehen am wahrscheinlichsten ist - würfelst du 600 mal, wird aber sehr wohl ungefähr hundertmal die "6" erscheinen ...).

Der Wert für einen 1:0-Tipp ergibt sich übrigens aus der Wahrscheinlichkeit von 1:0 * 3 + den Wahrscheinlichkeiten für 2:0, 2:1, 3:0, 3:1, 3:2, 4:0, 4:1, 4:2, 4:3, 5:0, 5;1, ... , ... * 1 (weil ich im Falle eines 1:0 Tipps bei einem anderen Heimsieg ja nicht 3 Punkte sondern nur einen bekomme).

Wenn man die Tipps aus dem Blickwinkel der Wahrscheinlichkeitsrechnung betrachtet, so ist das natürlich korrekt. Projiziert man jene jedoch auf den Langweiligkeitsfaktor der einzelnen Spiele mit solchen Ausgang, so ist Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass ich beim Schauen einschlafe signifikant hoch. Weshalb ich entgegen deiner Tipps hoffe, dass mehr Tore pro Spiel fallen, um eben dies zu verhindern :D :P

Good luck and i hope and wish that your results will come true. But in my opinion this time FIFA World Cup holds different plans and gave many surprising results and many expected teams went home.

But whatever it is, everyday is an new day and every phase will not be same. New teams and new players really throw great impact in matches and sometimes underestimate is not good.

No, it is not only to say who will win and who will lose ... it is also about the most probable correct score result.
Look for example at the odds of MAXBET, the biggest Asian bookmaker, for the game France against Uruguay:

Do you get what I mean? The 1:0 is simply the most probable result.

If predictions work is a matter of long term statistics and not a matter of single events.

If you bet for example at the number "6" when rolling the dice, then odds of 6.00 would be fair odds, because in the long run you would win as much as you lose (because of the winning probability of 1/6). As soon as any bookmaker would offer you odds of 6.5 you would win in the long run in case you accept these odds, even if you would lose more single bets than you won.

Concerning the match Brazil against Belgium, it is a very different thing if you take part in a tipster competition like this on on Steemit or if you bet against a bookmaker:

In the tipster competition you have to decide for a result even if the probability of every single possible result is lower than 50 %.

If you bet against a bookmaker you simply can leave out a game in case you think the offered odds are too low in relation to the winning probability.

You can find a rough idea about how to create own odds (which then you can compare with bookmaker odds) here.
