Welcome to the Community

The first time I heard about crytocurrency, the word community was always mentioned right after. I always pushed that off and didn't pay attention to it. Thus, I spent most of my time reading and researching different alt coins and resources to better understand crypto. Yet, if I had stopped from the very beginning and analyzed the purpose behind the community, I would of truly grasped the beauty behind this movement.

My first steemit post focused on my job loss. After I submitted my story, I received a reply within minutes. The reply said "if you need help ask the community." And right after I heard that word, I felt at ease. Someone who never knew me, wished me well and welcomed me into the community. And right after that I understood: this is a movement, this is not about money, the blockchain, bitcoin, Satoshi, this is about humanity coming back. And I am forever grateful to be part of it.
