Something I don't often do - blogging

in blog •  7 years ago

Hey everyone, it's been 2 weeks into the new year already and I decided to start doing more of something that I normally don't do much which is blogging. Even though I'm not the best content creator I've been trying to put a lot of time down to create content, not only cause the recent spike in SBD which has caused a lot of other authors to post a lot as well, but also because there is an insane amount of newcomers joining the platform and it's good to remain active during times like these.

The SBD spike has been nice for content creators anyway, to me personally it has been a great opportunity to increase the amount of SP I own and it saddens me to often see people just dump the SBD and never power anything up - I feel it shows a way of ungratefulness towards the platform and that they may not believe in it's future. It's not like they are cashing it out to pay taxes anyway - it's probably going towards other currencies which I don't really get personally. Ever since the first spike I've been buying Steem with it cause it seemed obvious to me that Steem was the next one to blow up even though it was lagging behind compared to the other currencies - and it did. So the SBD spike made it possible for me to not only profit from that but also profit from the Steem spike up right after, but that doesn't matter to me much right now how much I profit as my main goal is to increase my SP so I can use it for good in the future of the platform and to spread the distribution as wide as possible and I really respect many others on the platform who do the same.

Some users may see my recent posting activity and call it greedy or spammy, but not many others out there are putting in as much time into the platform and value back into Steem as I am. At least according to statistics that I've been looking through, anyway... Steem had an awesome start into the new year, it was almost unbelievable. Then again for many who saw it coming and are aware that Steem may be lagging behind a bit like it usually does on uptrends of most altcoins it was expected even though maybe not all the way up to $8.

I still have a lot of plans for the platform in the works and currently been over 5 days without smoking to try and clear my mind and become more active and increase the pace to work on these projects I have unfinished. There are also some changes coming to both @ocd and @ocd-witness soon. A lot of things to do, it feels like the more people join and the higher the price of Steem gets the more stressful it becomes, even curating. That is to be expected though in a way and I'm hoping to be able to get back to it fully ASAP. While I'm trying to stay away from smoking I've been mainly focusing on gaming lately to keep my mind at one thing and one thing alone. It's been working pretty well so far so I hope my cravings will go away soon even though I am aware they won't be going away fully for a long time.

This year I think will be very interesting in the crypto markets, I think many coins that barely have any usage or potential have been mooning hard due to the big amount of newcomers and new money flowing into cryptos this year and I expect many corrections to come. People have been gambling with coins a lot and the mainstream adoption has increased that number by a huge factor. The top 50-100 will change quite a lot in the coming months and with the mainstream adoption there will be a big amount of new ICO's and projects popping up that will have huge potentials with serious teams and they will be making their ways into the top as well. With bigger amount of users in the blockchain space lately it also means that prices and positions will be able to change drastically quickly.

It will be an exciting year and I can't wait for all the new stuff that lay ahead for Steem with SMT's and communities.

If periods, where STEEM is at an ATH and SBDs are unreasonably high, is not the time for people who have been with the blockchain through its up and downs and persistently worked for its value to profit from their work, then when?

Good for you man.

Hmmm...I dunno, you write well so I'd say you're a solid content creator dude. I'm doing similar to you, albeit on a smaller scale. Stacking SBD -> Steem while I can get more Steem for SBD. Making a big bet on the platform in 2018 as I think it's something special and one of the few blockchain projects with massive current adoption.

Keep writing!

P.S. Congrats on 5 days no smoking, that's huge.

~ Kevin

One of the things that Steemit/Steem has going for it is a working platform with thousands of users. Other coins can't claim that.

I just bought way more Steem than I should have yesterday. The drop in value stings a bit, but I'm on here so much I have to remember that I'm on here for the long haul.

Hopefully Steemit will gain traction and by then I'll be as famous as @grumpycat

Keep writing and Sharing is good

Why be surprised when people dump SDB on the run-up? One never knows if a spike is a pump-n-dump or if it's legit. If it is a legitimate upward move, people will eventually convert to SteemPower after a tasty little profit.

You write fairly well for not being a good content creator;) I agree that a lot of new currencies today have weak usecases, but I believe that the huge amount of altcoins helps prevent too much stress on any single currency (unless they're Ethereum based), which, thanks to a better user experience, can give much better publicity for the crypto market.

I'm relatively new to Steem and am still learning my way around here, but you get it. By helping others, you help yourself.

I think Steem has the potential to go up 50-100x if the community plays its cards right. Even at that lofty valuation, Steem would still be worth only a fraction of what Facebook is worth today.

Regarding cryptos in general, I think that the crypto space will trigger an enormous amount of creativity in the coming years and we're just scratching the surface of what we'll see. Significant talent is moving into crypto and we're in the early innings of the money flowing in as well.

There's not any shame in increasing your posting rate and more if you are invested in steemit which you are! I've managed to get some Sbd from my latest posts and contests and had invested some in powering up which is great because now my vote makes a difference in my country, I also invested a bit in Eos but bottom line is I'm all in with steemit, I've been doing some charity too and I'm gonna open up a steemit academy (soon will be asking for delegation) cause the idea is to grow our community. Nice to see you posting, Cheers!

Hi Jon =]
Here the same I also invested a little bit in power up and EOS , and same as in your country , here in brazil the rewards worth a lot of local cash (BRL), one with a blog and $10 daily rewards can make more money that most people earn in their regular jobs. Steemit can really be a change life 'event' to people in our countries.
see you at tables tonight hehe =p

See you at the tables bro! Lets grow up our communities!

Thanks for being honest with your thoughts regarding keeping the money in the platform and with your battle with smoking. I hope you're able to knock the habit so you can be as efficient as possible because you have a lot to contribute here. Regarding taking out steem from the platform, I have to be honest that I've taken out a bit but upon doing so have you decided that to be a good example it's best that I put quality content up on the regular to hopefully inspire future Steemiens to do the same. Can't wait to read more of your stuff, keep it up!

It will be an exciting year and I can't wait for all the new stuff that lay ahead for Steem with SMT's and communities.

I'm also anticipating too... I hope to see alot of changes this year. Cryptocurrencies are at their best and steem is no different.

No smoking woooo! Focus on those games!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You are crushing it dude. 5 days is a long time to go without a smoke, another week or two and it will probably start to feel normal. Did you replace it with any other habits, like making tea or chewing gum or whatever?

also -

it saddens me to often see people just dump the SBD and never power anything up - I feel it shows a way of ungratefulness towards the platform and that they may not believe in it's future.

I don't know if this is totally fair, I mean by default 50% of all money is powered up. It makes total sense for some people to power down, for example to pay off debts or even just to buy time. I use Steem to pay my rent and it enables me to spend twice as much time here as if I was working a part time job on the side.

I think each person has their own way to contribute - for some it is financial, but really it's unique to each person.

I was merely thinking of the top earners with that comment who both are constantly powered down and earn a lot of SBD. Topping it off with never responding to comments and posting 4-8 times per day with most votes being from autovotes like steemvoter. That's what saddens me.

and yeah I'm chewing nicotine gum and hopefully replacing it with normal gum soon.

I'm glad you clarified that one! Like @heymattsokol, I was wondering the same thing...it's pretty cool that he can pay his rent from this so therefore devote more time to bettering things here! I don't need to take any out and so I have continued to power up, but I totally get what you're referring to about "the top earners...". And, a big congratulations on your 5 smoke-free days! I quit years ago and still remember the yearning :) Keep at it though, it's worth it. I chewed gum for years:)

top earners also have a big social following too. they always share what they did in here and get an instant view of thousands. everybody should do it!

Oh yea now I see what you are saying. Those kinds of users are not good for Steemit, I agree

You should be proud of yourself, a lot of people cant go a day without jumping back to smoking its a addictive so keep up the good work. Now about this post. love it! your right on point when you say this will be a interesting year. I just posted today about people and this whole fomo (fear of missing out) trend with crypto newbies. although I do have to say I'm like yes come on because they are buying all these random coins lowering the prices on the good ones and allows me to buy the dip! def. gonna follow you. checkout my post if you get a chance and comment your thoughts.
https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@lyndzeegram07/the-fomo-fear-of-missing-out-buying-mindset-is-it-the-right-mindset-to-have-when-investing-in-cryptocurrency

Congratulations on your 5th day without smoking! I know how hard it is.
The SBD spike was a huge thing I think, made a lot of inactive steemians come back, numerous new accounts too..I hope then all stay and don't just withdraw what they earned.....I'm feeling a little bad for selling ~300usd in sbd/steem days ago , I should have all powered up ... now I'm trying to lease 550 SP to be able to split my votes ehehe..anyway, I was doing a little of everything with my rewards...but now I'm getting that if my plan is stay here in the long term, the best thing is power up as much as I can. Now SBD and STEEM prices are almost at same value, do you think when STEEM pass SBD price we will never see SBD higher then STEEM again?

Everything that's going on with all the cryptos is insane! We will definitely see a lot of action in the upcoming months. And I think you shouldn't care about the users who say you're greedy or spammy. I mean, you're doing so much for this platform, they are simply ungrateful individuals who only want some sort of gain for themselves.
And by the way, nice seeing you 5 days free of smoking!

glad you're blogging. gives some of us newbies a chance to get to know you. My aim is to be as successful on steemit as you. you're quite a benchmark one could say. LOL. Cheers!

Blog away man!

This is the sort of stuff I enjoy, especially when I've followed that person for a while and see they are pro Steem.

With regards to little powering up:

I feel it shows a way of ungratefulness towards the platform and that they may not believe in it's future.

For sure. People got bills to pay, and I've taken some out for essentials, but to not power up at all - not sure what the deal is there!

Cheers!

It is interesting I think that when people look at the payouts, they can only see what happens in their eyesight. for example, many even now do not follow ocd and see your votes cast through hundreds of unique people weekly. They don't realise that a large portion of what you get either stays in the system or goes out for a little while to buy even more Steem later.

Things are going to change a lot over the coming months here and there are going to be some very disappointed people I think who realise the opportunity they have wasted to get 'free' Steem. I just noiced that in the internal market, it is almost 1:1 again. I powered up a lot of Steem, I wish I had powered up a little more. I am still hoping for some spikes and fallbacks but I am unsure if I will get lucky enough now.

Anyway - don't smoke.

You should do it more often! Good luck for stopping smoke. All the best.

Alright you got me, I’ll power up that liquid steem!

I didn’t expect the prices to remain as high as they have so I spread it around a little to try to hedge my bets but man, I don’t know how traders do it. I’m checking my ‘portfolio’ constantly. I liked it more when I was all in on steem.

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

You just gotta stop checking the $ value, in the end that won't matter.

Pls upvote kind sir

Hi - nice update, but don't worry about posting so much.... those of us that have done a little digging around know who the people are constantly beavering away in the background and are thus worthy of rewarding (whatever little that's worth on my part!)

I'm inclined to agree that it's been a great time to power up recently, as I've been doing. Not so much now: that 1:1 ratio is not appealing! So guess I'm stuck with a few SBD until the conversion rate improves.

Belated happy new year and good luck staying off the smoking.

Spike in SBD really helps me to power up .. i got 14 steem in 1 Sbd ...i think that time was very lucky.....& best of luck for @ocd project

thank's for upload this post very helpful to me

Thanks for the great post. Sacrificing smoking for steemit is huge.

Absolutely correct, I did a mistake in my earlier posts by not choosing a 50-50 ratio between SP and SBD and went 100% on SP which gave me less SP initially. But I am trying to use this opportunity to increase my SP. I am just hoping the price of SBD stays the same way or spike up again which will be very beneficial for content creators.

I’m also trying to get as much SP as possible so I can give back to the community one day. Thanks for the great post!

I agree STEEMIT IS GREAT. First social media platform on blockchain and has potential to grow further. Best thing about steemit is by helping each other we help the stem ecosystem.

Great job..Thanks for the share..

Great job staying away from smoking.

Good shiz on the blog blog. Power up 100-all day. Just saw cheakys csgo video, I'm getting in on that next time.

I believe that STEEM can be a big winner this year, since solves real problems in the world, not mentioning speed and no cost regarding transactions. On the other hand there are coins that are scams and only exist to make founders wealthy. Yes, it is going to be exiting year.

Thanks for your thoughts. I think the primary reason that Steem has an edge on other alt coins is that we are directly involved in creating its destiny as content creators. This is different than gambling which is how most people seem to be treating crypto - its hard work that will increasingly pay off!

@acidyo Agreed, this is going to be a huge year for Steem. It is always a good decision to invest in Steem and power up, this platform has a bright future ahead and a great potential whether one believes in it or not.

I'd be glad to read more from you frequently, especially concernign SBD and Steem.

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

althoug your posts are at the level always
you are right , many people post a lot because of SBD increase
but there many authore still posting great & useful topics
There are many coins pumped this year without any reason
but i believe that in the future only great project & solid project will survive like steem
@acidyo steemit to the moon

Good blog post!!!!!!!!!!!!

very nice!

Yes It will be an exciting year and I can't wait for all the new stuff that lay ahead for Steem with SMT's and communities.
I’m realy proud of you just like All steemiens you are non-smoker!
Resteemed!

Good content. Thank you keep up!!

Well I'm cashing out those SBD so I can pay the bills. It's awesome to be able to make money from blogging Steemit art. But yeah, I do wish I had some more SP.

I am trying to Increase my SBD.
WHAT is the fastest way ?

Hehe, just get lots of good votes on your posts ;)

You write very well! keep the hard work going!

but since I started to join steemit I'm excited and would love to try to do blogging...

I hope new year will bring us good fortune and will bring this community wealth!

Congratulations on going so long without smoking, the first few days are the toughest so if you have a moment of weakness remember that you have already been through the hardest part.

I have read till the end of the text :)
Do you know if the SBD is right, do you know that it has recently fallen too low?

Smoking can be very addictive and even more difficult to give up, I tried it just once and realized why my dad is not able to quit. All the best, you just need to distract yourself more :D and looking forward to more @ocd awesomeness in the new year :)

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

You're a great content creator, I like your articles. And it's understandable to post a bit more since the rewards are bigger right now after all you worked so hard to get to this point.

Thanks for sharing, be awesome!)

I was dumping all my SBD to invest in other coins so I could later buy more SP, but your right, it shows I have a little doubt back there somewhere........I'm powering at least 50% from now on...

Got a little side tracked, thanks for the kick up the arse.

Oh, and by the way, keep posting, I never upvote spammy posts and I have never seen one with your name on it.

it's good that you are blogging again !! it would be great help if you could do some blogs helping newbies and minnows to grow

again Amazing Explained sir @acidyo thanks for shareing!!!!!

What are your thoughts on having witnesses set the bias higher to create more supply of sbd and drive the price down as detailed in https://steemit.com/politics/@buggedout/steem-politics-witness-policy-for-steem-dollar-supply-increase

It doesn't look like HF 20 will have an effect on sbd and its use for botting profitably.

Congrats on your smoke-free milestone!

I don't think anyone would look at you as an individual and call your blogging greedy or spamming, at least as far as average quality of content is concerned on hot there are far worse abusers of the current system. Thanks for not throwing up a chart of shitcoin of the week and actually trying to write instead.

It's funny that steem blew up in price before any of the other crypto madness back in 2016 and quickly went down the dumpster, the economics of steem creation are far different now and it remains to be seen if the 1% of steem owners who have the majority are willing to let go of some profits today for a more equitable community tomorrow.

The use potential of steem is there, but making it worthwhile to use steemit and its related platforms is going to be a real challenge in a world where content is king and the average user has to choose how to spend their limited free time. The community won't be self-sustaining if the current user-base continues to feel powerless and largely ignored and the ability to be seen or heard continues to feel like a dystopian pay to win phone game.

See #ocd had been a revelation @acidyo, it's helped quite a lot of people, myself too, well you can say your content creation is not top notch, but it informs, teaches entertains and helps, that's beyond and awesome content, the real not so good content is out there not you buddy! Cheers and thank you for everything

For me these kinds of blogs are very enjoyable because it gives a behind the scene glimpse, which is always cool.
I've also been powering up every little SBD scrap I can get my hands on. I hope one day steem will be my ticket to financial freedom.
Keep blogging man!

All eyes are on the Crypto currencies. Like never before.

As for me, there is joy I get when I create content, especially writing. It comes naturally. I tried to vlog but I got stuck and would find myself blinking at the camera. Lol.

Good luck in your blog and I hope to read as many as you write. Ciao

I agree with you @acidyo.

I used the run up in SBD to power up also...I want as much SP as I can get. It not only helps the platform but also means a lot more voting power for me to pass around.

We are going to see an influx of millions of people over the next year. Those who realize this can understand how the price of STEEM is going to skyrocket. How can it not? This is one of the few blockchains that has activity done by average people.

I agree many of the tokens pumped without activity will see a correction. They might be viable down the road, just got ahead of themselves. STEEM is trailing even now in terms of price to activity. This is a $10 token when you look at it through the pricing of other tokens. Either way, at some point, this will explode.

You write some good stuff....keep it up....I am excited to see what this year brings.

Congrats on your attempt at quitting smoking...it is a hard thing to do.

Great post! I follow you :) https://seeninbg.wordpress.com/

I power up because it in my financial interest. I'd like to see the platform grow and it gives me lots of exposure. I cannot be quick to judge however other that choose to power down, for I do not know the kind of circumstances they're in right now and they might need the cash. I'm glad you feel like I do about so many people joining the platform.

a very helpful post, especially beginners like me, my friend, help the antonysteem to get better results from steemit, because I really can not afford to increase my level. please give me the inputs, so I can fix it. Thank you for helping me with my friend.

"The top 50-100 will change quite a lot in the coming months and with the mainstream adoption there will be a big amount of new ICO's and projects popping up that will have huge potentials with serious teams and they will be making their ways into the top as well."

Agree its going to be a great 2018 for cryptocurrencies that have a good product/service and Steem will rise! after SMT is introduced so anyone with a blog/site can monitize it

Welcome back to active blogging @acidyo. I hope you are able to complete all the tasks you have set out for yourself this new year. I'll be watching your space. It's admirable that you're trying to quit smoking. It can't be an easy process...but you can soften the effects by chewing gum ( sugar-free cinnamon gum) whenever you begin to feel the need/craving to smoke. Good luck!

Realmente esto de steem es muy bueno como dices yo también creo en eta comunidad que se van a venir cosas mejore yo de recién estoy empesando espero que me vaya bien suerte a todos les deseo lo mejor y que Dios os bendiga.

You are doing a great job trying to stop smoking. Gaming is a great idea to try to concentrate on something else.
Ow, don't be too modest - your posts are awesome!

Enjoyed reading!

It's such as a great news that more people into writing in Steemit, and also old users are coming back too! I will look forward to seeing your post more :)

This is such a cool platform, @acidyo! I'm pretty new here, have not bought any steem power, and was wondering if you have a resource that goes over how it's earned with content. I have some posts that do really well, while others don't even get any views... Not sure how all this works! Thanks in advance for the insight! :)

good think, steemit forever.. bro.. dont smoke, I resteem this post. Good luck!

I'm loving steemit and the community but struggle to create new content of my own due to not wanting to look silly.. especially reading well written blogs like this.

Keep them coming x

i am new in steemit and some times is hard to find something to blog about but sometimes we dont need to find big stuff to blog we only need to blog things that may drag people curiosity that's what i think :)

Captivating... I love every bit of it... 2018 must hear from us.

good post...
vote and coments back oke

something you didn't often do , but you looks like a pro blogger and i see it that you are.
Very good job buddy, you're surrounding a positive vibes in this platform.

Keep on posting man! Anything to keep your mind off from smoking! I think the SBD high price has definitely encouraged a lot of more content to be added to the site! I would hope that people would convert it to steem, but I know some people live off of the SBD earnings. I think SMT’s will be a game changer when the are introduced! 2018 is going to be a bright year for Steem!

WOW I LOVE THIS POST.

THanks a lot @acidyo you've done great job congratulation. New creators as me we have to learn how to do like this post! I look forward your next job

I am new to Steemit. Your writing is excellent. Well done for quiting smoking. Keep it up they say it takes three days to stop a bad habbit. You are already on your way to success. My goals for 2018 is to develop my creativity here on Steemit. I hope to learn more on this community.

I clearly remember @Aggroed referring to you as a blogger not that long ago. Are you implying he was not being serious? No way.. Not the Aggster....

New year is a new year. Wish best of luck!

Good day as is the great Steemit family, I am new to this amazing platform but the panorama I see for this year 2018 is very favorable for Steemit and his Steemians, this is a platform that grows more and more disproportionately every day, it is amazing how it is going the other platforms that I almost forgot the name, but there is one important thing, we are all responsible for this platform grows more and more every day, you have to publish, vote, comment, respond and comment as necessary, so we must continue working to have good bases since we are almost founders, so friend @acidyo your future is promising and safe, thanks for sharing your publication

well written, You did great job, Thanks for sharing @acidyo

Steemiens to do the same. Thank you for being honest about your thoughts on keeping your money on the platform and fighting with cigarettes. you can be as productive as possible because you have a lot to contribute here. I think I should be honest when I think of buying chicken from the platform, but once you do, you decide to be a good example, the best thing in the futureTo do the same is to regularly provide quality content that will inspire Steemiens.I can not wait to read more of your items, hold on!

Hi @acidyo, I am rather new to this all and I'm finding it rather tough finding it hard to capture a good group of people. I have blogged about a few things close to me and not had much response. Is there anyway I can up this as I would really like to blog more about things close to my heart, but feel rather deflated when it does not get much upvotes. Any help would be great and I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your post and I truly hope that you or anyone out there can help me please. @acidyo all the best with the no smoking and I'm sure you will knock it out the park. A definite upvote from me.

What an amazing and inspirational thoughts you got

my main goal is to increase my SP so I can use it for good in the future of the platform and to spread the distribution as wide as possible and I really respect many others on the platform who do the same.

Yesterday @surfermarly wrote her blog in which she talked about the Vision of Steemit thoroughly by sharing this quote from Ned,

We've created a technology that is so powerful that it inspires our creativiy, our freedom and our relationships. - Ned Scott

So, i came to know one thing and that is how can i contribute at my own end to this community. This was the actual vision of the Steemit.

Although, i am a new addition to this great Community but My aims are really Big to make this community as Welfare Community.

To promote Peace, Harmony, Affection and Love are the core objectives

I am really looking forward to learn as much as i can from you and would definitely Support you to make this Place, a place of Humanity.

Stay Blessed, Steem On!

Thx for sharing your insights, I feel the same way about people removing there SBD and powering down. I've been severely limiting anything I remove from the platform and continuing to power up as much as I can.

my second week here. I won 20 sbd
but I don't increase my SP. :) thank you for post. Keep going like that :)

I completely agree @acidyo ! I joined several months back, took a break, and then recommitted a couple of weeks back to blog more and comment and curate more. I didn't really have a new year resolution heading into to 2018 but I guess you can say the recommitment to Steemit has been a priority so far. I've been blogging about my dog Floppy's back surgery to try and pay for it and have been having some success, if you have a minute, check it out:

https://steemit.com/animals/@geoffreydemars/51nwr2-the-help-my-dog-challenge-day-16-usd35-36-of-usd5-000-00-please-resteem-upvote-donate-directly

Thanks for such an amazing informative posting!!

Great job

Gratz on quitting smoking! I would also really recommend reading this book: http://amzn.to/2s98QAN
While I myself never smoked(never will) I read a lot of people that this book made them quit smoking halfway through, so definitely look into it!

Also I agree with you, top 50 crypto will definitely change a lot!!!

Thanks acidyo. I’ve been a follower of yours for a while. I see the effort and time you put into Steem. Cheers!

This blog very nice..thanks for sharing this blog...

always interesting tematics- keep on blogging!

I am very excited for what the platform is becoming and will become in the near future, and am awe-struck at what it can be longer out 12-18 months, and so on. Being a newbie I am so grateful for the platform, just the overall set of circumstances that are shaping here, this is way too well of a kept secret and will not be very much longer (here are my thoughts on that by the way) https://steemit.com/steem/@cryptkeeper17/see-those-prices-steem-hodlers-longs-buyers-time-to-be-excstatic. Killer content, I am very glad that someone of your status on here is thinking fairly on the nose as I am, the hiccups, ups and downs in short term pricing doesn't scare me a bit, in fact it great encourages me exponentially. Great post @acidyo, glad you decided to step out and let us know your thoughts, keep up the great work on the habit by the way as well!

Hey, it is great to hear that you are going over 5 days without smoking! For the new year beginning this is huge and I hope that you will be able to keep it like that and finally surpass the need of smoking.

Your words about the top cryptocurrencies made me think about it and I think that I should consider waiting a little bit more before developing a portofolio. I guess I will have to follow your posts much careful in order to catch news on promising ICOs.

PS: Don't overthink about taking a little more from the reward pool, I am sure you deserve it after your contribution to Steem. I really believe that there are other people who should worry about it, and they don't even care...

Whish you all the best!

It's good to do propocitos in the new year, especially not smoking ... and meditate on the future of the steemit community

There are certainly a lot of newcomers to crypto (I'm one for sure), and the banks are taking notice. MasterCard just blocked my ability to move money from my bank with my debit card into a crypto market. Any suggestions for a work-around?

Step one: Don't post about how to circumvent regulations preventing you from purchasing crypto in your jurisdiction on an account tied to your personal identity. Step two: Use a search engine. There are platforms you can use to buy direct from other holders.

Good post and thanks for sharing. Good luck with the quitting smoking, I really should do the same. I am just over a week on this platform and I have already seen the potential in it.

Enough to where yesterday I cashed out my entire coin portfolio and divided it between me and my wife’s account and put it all in steemit.

I would rather gamble on something that’s meaningful then some coins that can pump and dump and keep chasing my tail. I am enjoying this platform and hopefully at some point I will learn enough to also contribute useful content like this.

Thank you again for sharing. Helps us new people learn.

Mhmmm, I am smoking right now, I am feeling so good!

Keep writing dude, that was a fun read 👍

I'm also trying to get a decent amount of Steem in my account, as I believe that Steemit will only ever grow bigger from here on out, and so will the value of Steem.

Good luck on your Steemit adventure!

I tried quit smoking 8 months ago. I gave my all attention to games like you I always been a gamer since 10-11 years old. I was playing cs for like 16 hours a day and then I got angry to some cheater at cs and started smoking again it was fckn annoying. So my suggestion stay away from games like cs. Cheaters can be so annoying...

I quit smoking May 7, 2013. The cravings DO go away, first 2 weeks are the hardest, get through that and it gets much easier. Sounds like you've got the desire to quit so nothing can stop you. Although I joined a while ago, I didn't "get it" and stopped posting for a while. Just learning more about the whole platform, it is quite different from other social networks, but in so many AWESOME ways!

In times like these when there is a lot of new users coming every day , like you said , we should try to keep them informed about what is going on here because I saw some bots spaming them and pull out some money from them. By doing that we will earn their followe and who knows, Maybe that will pay out some day. Also I'm not sure why you think about youself you are a bad content creator, maybe I don't always comment on your posts but I always find them interesting just like you make them. I don't have much influence or SP here but belive me when I say to you to just keep steemin like you did until now.
Keep it steemin and good luck :)
I will read your posts always

Thanks for sharing! I am a total newbie to Steemit and blogging as well as the crypto world but I’m very excited to see where this all goes and I too plan on investing as much as possible into this promising community.

I don't agree that you suck at posting. I follow you because I believe you are good. But the nature of good is that there is always room for improvement.

That is why we are all here. We look for things to motive and inspire us. By writing about it we journal our travels and become hungry again. That process over time helps us write better and find better writers to improve our skills and build the community.

Cheers!
