Estamos viviendo un momento crucial entre lo antiguo y lo moderno. La forma de leer, adquirir conocimientos, mantenernos informados, comunicarnos, estas cosas están cambiando drásticamente nuestra forma de vida. En una salida al Metro, transporte púbico subterráneo, me encontré con una situación interesante al observar a una mujer leyendo un libro (antiguo) y a un hombre mirando su celular (moderno).
Levanté la mirada y rápidamente pude observar a varias personas con su celular en la mano. La mirada puesta en ese dispositivo electrónico moderno que carga una infinidad de información y una serie de aplicaciones que facilitan las actividades diarias del ser humano.
Lo impresionante es que este avance tecnológico puede cargar con un revés histórico debido a que estamos perdiendo el contacto con nuestra realidad, nuestro acontecer diario, nuestro entorno y como si fuera poco, hasta nuestra vista, según lo reportado en este reportaje: "Todo ese tiempo frente a las pantallas puede estar dañándole los ojos".
Me causa impresión ver que las personas van en las calles caminando con la mirada puesta en el celular, los conductores de vehículos con una mano al volante y la otra en su celular, claro a una velocidad cercana a 60 Km/h. Pero esto es increíble, una mujer se introduce al vagón del Metro con algunos de sus 5 sentidos puestos en el celular!
Así que son contadas las personas que se dedican a "leer" un libro a la antigua, otro pequeño porcentaje se comunica verbal y personalmente, pero la gran mayoría vive encerrado en su MUNDO VIRTUAL.
Los avances tecnológicos no son malos, nosotros debemos tener la máxima inteligencia para darles el mejor uso para el desarrollo de nuestras vidas.
