I moved to Narrative, and here is why you should too

Last year I joined Steemit, hoping to use it to write about my travels, photography, hobbies, and other stuff, while making little income on the side. Quickly though, I realized this place is no longer hospitable for new comers, there is a lot of low quality content, and you need to play a lot of spam tricks if you want to get any attention. The editor in use was no good to me as well. Overall, I did not enjoy my writing experience, and it felt like every interaction is soulless marketing ploy.

In comes Narrative. One of the few ICO projects I have followed and seen constant progress, communication, and focus on the product, instead of price pump and dump. So what is Narrative? Narrative platform much like Medium, except it tackles the matter of content creator compensation differently.

As you see, Narrative is working to make content creators the owners and moderators of niches, and reward them and writers to the niche from the same pool. Therefore, it is making each one responsible, and invested in the niche. Otherwise, a niche would not make enough money to justify paying renewal fees for it by owners, and moderators will not be getting much value from inefficient niche as well.

The platform launched yesterday, and I can already see streams of content pouring in. And for once, I'm enjoying writing actually once more.

So why should you join Narrative?

  1. Early adopter: The platform is very new, less than 1 day old. Which means it's craving for new original content, and you have the perfect chance at being recognized, and monetize the content you create. It's easy to get featured and known at such early stage.

  2. Shape the product: Throughout the development cycle of Narrative, I've seen the owners respond and adapt to users feedback constantly. Doesn't mean they will take anything you say. But they will consider it. And as an early adopter, your voice will be heard a lot more, and you can help shape how this product will be down the line.

  3. Buy niches and become moderator: As the platform is fairly new, many high potential niches are still available to buy, and some are not even there yet, so you get to suggest and buy them. You can also nominate yourself to become a moderator on the niches you love. This will generate extra revenue for you as the niche grows.

  4. Better editor: I mean seriously. Just from the start, Narrative has a far better editor than Steemit, which have been around for years. The editor is much like Medium. Very easy to use.

  5. Nothing to lose: For free, you can signup, start writing content, and nominate yourself for some niches. See if you like it. And if you do, you can start then investing in buying some niches perhaps?

Don't you wish you knew about Steemit when it first launched? Well now is your chance to join in something I think will be much better. Feel free to follow me there as well. I've already written several articles on Narrative, and plan to continue doing so.
