Motivation Monday Partiko Blog 2: Actifit is Acting Up! Discussing Music on the Blockchain and the need for Hip Hop Community!steemCreated with Sketch.

What's good, everybody? It is your boy, Charlie!

I am back again with another Motivation Monday Partiko Blog. It has been a solid week, and a lot has been going on. You can basically consider this my #monochromemonday post too. Man this pic looks good.

There were so many initiatives I wanted to hop into(Minecraft Let's Play on @boycharlieville, entering the cypher jam, my daily @actifit tracking (more on that after). The biggest thing for me last week is that I am noticing what is motivating my mind to work harder and enjoy the work. The small purchase of a particular game for my student's called "No, Thank You Evil!" has really got me excited to come into work. This game allows my students to use a noun, adjective, and verb combination to create characters Dungeons and Dragon style. We managed to create a bunch of awesome characters today. I'll showcase the greenlit ones after the first adventure.

Actifit Acting Up! For Real Though.

Last week was the most moderate week I had engaging with the pulpit since my "re-admittance." I only got to fully accomplish a few as things start to pile up again and I find myself so caught up. One thing that got me posting again and has truly upset me is @actfit's app not registering my steps after going into sleep mode. I record almost 12,000 a day, and this morning it would register the first 100 steps and then force me to reopen the app. Very frustrating. I'm hoping after uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it tomorrow I will have a different experience. However, I am not hopeful that it will, which makes me upset because I did really enjoy tracking my movement this way. Again if it combined with my Google Fit or even my Samsung Health, it would register so many more of my steps. The fact that Fitbit Sensors are the only other option frustrates me more. I must remain focused on the goal, which is to create and promote through the creations.

Community Post Winner and the Cypher Jam.

Check Out The World Wide Cypher Jam Post Here!

It is my obligation as a steemian to make sure I am giving the community more. I did add a community aspect to my last blog, and the only comment I received was from @termitemusic, who answered so beautifully. Since @termitemusic engaged with the post correctly, he gets the 1 steem. I would like to shoutout @paulmoon410 who will forever have a feature down below now ;). I do want to apologize to @termitemusic for not entering into the cypher jam yet. I've been trying to put something together. I think you do the contests bi-weekly now. So that's good, gives me some more time to cook something up. The #worldwidecypherjam does deserve more love and should be a welcome mat for anyone looking to build themselves up here on the platform. Termitemusic does a fantastic job putting together his instrumentals for the jam.

This contest has kept the idea of hip hop culture on the blockchain alive, especially after the death of the @adsactly @rondonson project called the #steemitrapchallenge. I want to see more #hiphop tags; I want to see more people who are interested in sharing their music. I have not followed up with the Open Mic Challenge in a very long time. I imagine a lot of the regulars are still at it. Maybe we need to see more posts on the platform @3Speak.

It is going to take a focus on the community to revitalize the music culture around here. I want to see a cypher entry, a poem, a rap verse down below in any format. If you are entering @termitemusic's contest even better. Let me know about the competition out there down below. It's all for fun and to see whos got the skills, right? I also want to see some @partiko comments down below.
