Steem Journal Entry 5/15/18 - Working with the Land & Pondering the Crypto Market

in blog •  7 years ago  (edited)

Another sunny spring morning here in Southern Oregon. Listening to the birds chirp as I drink my morning tea and accomplish some computer work. It's been awhile since I've simply used Steem to journal, but I think I may start doing that a lot more moving forward.

I've been working with the land and doing some general maintenance over the last month. Working on clearing a lot of down brush and getting that all burnt up before fire season begins. The fires raged last year and filled the whole valley with smoke. It seems that there's always another thing to do, as I tune into the land. I'll be doing some weedeating work and cleaning up our workshop in the next few days.

The crypto markets are in a really interesting place right now. BTC got rejected off the 10K mark again which is a sign that we still haven't fully escaped the bear claws. EOS is preparing to go live, and I am extremely interested to see how that goes. We have never seen a year long ICO get released as a finished product that includes other tokens that will be airdropped. I'm also curious to see if we end up with multiple EOS blockchains right out of the gate since BlockOne is technically only releasing the software and not launching the chain. Will the community launch multiple chains out of the gate? Regardless of the price, I think EOS may end up being a very promising project. Time will tell.
