These are some of the heart breaking stories of Caribbean nationals sharing their stories as the Windrush generation scandals unfold. I must warn viewers some of these stories are heavy and may not be appropriate for everyone.

We have to be extremely careful with the people we put in policy making roles. Some folks are simply incompetent and their agendas sometimes get the best out of them. I have been browsing through social media and while there has been outcry some of these agenda groups are fired up. We must stamp out these kind of beliefs, they have no place in our society. These are some of the comments that gave me chills
The strange part of these policy supporters they seem not to understand there are folks like myself who are mix up when it comes to my ancestry. I have a little of everything from African, Indian to European. Folks like my father and his father who grew up on plantation in the Caribbean and travel to England were by law British citizens before their islands gain independence in the 70's and 80's. The Caribbean life is quite laid back, people don't take these immigration matters to serious, you can swim from one island to the next in some cases. History would show that these folks were most of the time just given names and their parents in most cases never even registered their child. While this sounds weird, this is typical Caribbean life.
Some of these policy makers have to be extremely careful with the policies and laws they put in place. You are dealing with generational issues that's tied up with a very ugly past. How incompetent and disgusting. More stories....

Well thanks to social media we are learning of the cases of the folks that have already been deported. More and more cases of grandpa and grannies in total tears, some cannot even see their grand children and their relatives are given the round around. I am personally aware of a elderly who sadly in grief after putting off his sister funeral weeks after weeks only to have her buried without laying eyes on her after being unable to secure the necessary travel documents.
We have progress to far, made to many strides to let the action of a few lead us down the rabbit hole. The countless men and women who have lost the jobs. This kind of things have rippling effects, remittances are a big part of the Caribbean economy. That's how many children go to school and families are able to build homes, I continue to stress, those at the policy level must do some soul searching and the people on social media supporting these agenda groups think twice about what you write.
To the British, we still love and appreciate you, the reality we are very much in this together. The growth and prosperity of the Caribbean is very much link to a harmonious relationship. On a financial side, the investment from the wealthy American and Europeans are very much needed and the talents the Caribbean produce is at the forefront of many global companies and cooperation. I hope this is a learning lessen, we really need to stamp out the rhetoric of some of these groups, some of these comments, I don't even want my enemies reading them and the politicians who play this immigration game we must call them out and when possible let your vote count...
Deporting these elderly people, who have lived in the UK for decades with the explicit approval of prior administrations, is an absolute outrage.
The immigration overtones of Brexit are one thing, this is an entirely different matter. These people ARE British citizens.

Sadly the same Theresa May destroy all the documents when she was home secretary... Its quite a complex issues especially those who find themselves post-independence with the place of Birth in the Caribbean, there are so many cases, even their children who are born in England are lock up and threaten with deportation... Imagine the kind of mental trauma these grand children are going through, alot of these things started way back in 2012, turn up in 2014, got worse in 2016 and the media broke the story about 2 weeks now and people have been on the outcry... What bothers me most, these agenda groups are quite strong and they have strong connection within the government... Effectively they are targeting their own people, the elderly who should be enjoying the last part of their lives... The government needs to start calling out these group, the Caribbean folks we not in the far-right or far-left games... They are dragging a young generation into a rabbit hole we should really let die in history
