Our First Hike

Since the beginning of this year my boyfriend and i wanted to try new things like travel to new places and try a lot of new food.

We decided that the first thing we are going to do together this year is to go hiking because we are huge nature lovers and we both live in an area surrounded by beautiful mountains and hills so hiking seemed like a good idea.

We decided to hike at Mt. Kalugong, it is one of the well known tourist spots here in La Trinidad

To get to the beggining of the trail we took a jeepney from Baguio City, it took us about 30 minutes travel time to reach Tawang, La Trinidad, where the start of the trail is located.

The hike really isn’t a long one, difficulty is a 1 or 2 out of 10, that’s how easy it is and the view is awsome.

In this picture we were already halfway through the hike to the left of the picture you can see a part of la trinidad and to the right of the picture you can see the dirt path we took.

Here is a picture of la trinidad when we finally reached the top of Mt. Kalugong

The top of Mt. Kalugong has alot of big rocks so we actually climd them to be able to get the shot of La Trinidad

We took advantage of the beautiful rocks and took some awsome (well i think their awsome) pictures

The picture i took of him on the rock was better and i got mad at him because of that haha

We were so exhausted after the hike and rock climbing, we blamed our inactive lifestyles for that . And the fact that we forgot the food we prepared amidst the hype and excitement.

But still, we really enjoyed the calm and peacefull vibe that Mt. Kalugong offered and we really want to visit again
