Why is fat arm freedom so elusive? It seems as though many women are utterly lost when it comes to getting sexy arms.
How did this ever come to be? I personally believe that ultra aggressive marketing campaigns are to blame. And to make matters even more confusing, scientific research is usually quite ambiguous.
Now if the gurus have a tough time detangling the research, how is the average women supposed to? Luckily, I have already done this for you.
So without further ado, here are 4 things you shouldn’t be doing to reduce fat arms:
Thinking supplementation trumps whole food. Ignore the labels with pictures of women who lost 40lbs of fat overnight. The truth is that whole foods interact with each other in ways that supplements could never mimic. Nature cannot be reproduced in a pill.
Thinking regularly taking fiber is healthy. Well, the research has shown that modest fiber supplementation can increase colon cancer risk. So dump the Metamucil and stick to vegetables.
Equating thinness with health. Being thin is no guarantee of having toned arms. And being thin is no guarantee of being healthy. I’ve seen thin women with flabby arms and I’ve seen thin women undergo triple bypass surgeries because their diets are so poor.
Thinking carbs are the only macronutrients that can mess with insulin. I have some bad news: saturated fat and high protein intakes can also mess up your insulin levels. So make sure you are eating with balance across all foods.
Ok, now you know 4 mistakes you shouldn’t make in your journey to get sexy and lean arms. And knowing what to avoid is extremely important in any endeavor. After all, time spent doing useless things is time that could be used to get you closer to your goal.
