What can be better than being trapped on an island paradise? How about an island paradise full of mutants and bad guys? This is of course Far Cry. The first game in the series This was released back in March of 2004. This game had some amazing graphics for the time. The mountain top views and blue seas were a beauty to behold while playing. Frankly I think they should have stuck with this type of game. I actually discovered this game while playing another game. It was either Return to Castle Wolfenstein or Wolfenstein Enemy Territory. There was a set of user made maps on a beach. Those maps came from Far Cry. I just had to get the game to see what it looked like. Far Cry 2 was alright but no where near as good as the first one. Far Cry 3 tried to get back to it and was a great game too but still didn't have that beauty of the first one. I've played and beat all 5 now. If I had to choose 1 to play again it would be the first one.
