As I wrote in my first article, I like history, especially one that almost everyone tries to forget.
I will write about the Byzantine Empire, it happened at the expense of Rome, and Rome was divided into two parts - the western and the eastern.

I live in Ukraine and I'm Orthodox and noticed that the source of my religion was exclusively from Constantinople, the capital of Byzantium.
The northernmost part of the Empire was in the Crimea, formerly known as "Tavrida", now called the Crimea. The city of Fiodosia is interesting, I liked it there. But most of all interested in the culture of the empire, which was driven out of the island.
Photo with me and this city is also attached =)
The first symbol of Orthodox Christianity was the monogram of the name of Christ, which consists of two initial Greek letters of the son of God.
So I decided to leave a trace of this symbol on myself;
Name of tattoo - Cross of Constantine
It's like an amulet on the body. The soldiers drew this cross on their shields so that God would protect them. I am engaged in hand-to-hand fighting and decided that this tattoo will be appropriate for me. Or I'm just in love with the culture of this newly-forgotten empire.
