  • They boast a 99.99% uptime. If you're online and providing content you want to be certain it's always accessible.
  • They have a great load time average of 714 ms.
  • They have superior customer service and support.
  • They are recommended by Wordpress.org and have high performance Wordpress hosting.
  • They provide free transfers for existing websites.

So are you ready to start your blog? Just follow the simple steps below and you will be up and blogging in just minutes.

Web Hosting

1. Choose Your Domain Name:

Before you jump in and setup your first blogging website you're going to want to have a name picked out for your website. You can always start the sign up process but if you haven't picked out a name yet you'll either end up staring at your computer screen drawing a blank or picking a name on the fly that you'll regret later on. While going through the sign up process Siteground will give you the option to register your domain name for $15.95 for a .com site or input your domain name if you already have one set up.

2. Choose A Hosting Plan:

Here you've got 3 plan options:
StartUp
GrowBig
GoGeek

We recommend using the StartUp plan to begin with. You can always upgrade your plan as your blog grows. One of the great features of Siteground is that you can pay 3 years up front and lock in the low introductory rate of $3.95 a month.

If you chose to register your domain during the setup (as shown in step 3 above) then the Siteground Account Setup Wizard will pre-populate that information and you're ready to proceed by clicking on Start a new website at your domain. If you are transferring an existing website domain then you would select the 2nd option (as shown below).

From this point forward we will leave you in the capable hands of Siteground. After clicking proceed in the setup wizard you will be prompted to setup your website preferences, install Wordpress and choose a theme.

Then it's up to you to start sharing your amazing content with the world. We can't wait to see what you create.
