I've never begged for a vote, but often wonder how to get that special whale vote as a newbie. You know, the one that can change your entire outlook on things. The vote that makes you all warm and happy even on a monday morning.
While I'm no whale myself i would like to think i would dedicate my first vote of the day, meaning my 100% vote to upvote a newer member that has written some decent posts but just haven't received any recognition. So I thought of the #WhaleChallenge
The #WhaleChallenge is an idea and as follows:
Each Whale Challenge themselves to find and upvote a newer level user that has been consistent with their involvement in the community and hasn't really gotten that game recognition they need to become a mainstream user and grow to invest in the community. By dedicating that 1 vote you are changing a persons day. If they stay and invest on steemit it may change both of your lives. If a whale upvotes a newb guarantee that newb will remember it forever and will follow you with repayments of upvotes for life. We all swim in the same lake. If the whales swallow all the minnows and plankton then they will run out of food to eat and die themselves. So take the #WhaleChallenge and feed the younglins in your habitat!
Just think if a whale gave 1 - 100% upvote everyday to 1 newer striving member.... It's like whales making babies. Not everyone can deposit $20k nor can everyone write $100 articles. Users that only curate need a little nudge to keep them intrigued in the begining. Bad enough they wait 7 days to see any gains, more times than not, they are left depressed and unenergetic when they only get .50 in rewards.
