What's the big idea?

You may seek clarification, definition, explanation, elucidation, illumination, simplification and / or a combination of the former; however, very few individuals bother to inquire - as to whom is asking?

As a species, we have collectively gone through periods of enlightenment, lost knowledge and rediscovery, resulting in clusters of groups, societies, specialisms and niches; all with relevance, insight and truth (for lack of a better word), to what they hold dear. But each are plagued with divisiveness, in-thinking and all seek to obtain the silver-bullet to finally set themselves above the rest!

Now, why is that?

Prominent thinkers may conclude that ‘the world has simply gone mad!” Others may surmise that this is all by design, the most positive of us conceive this will lead to a greater good; whilst their pundits obviously feel this makes for great news and suggest - it will all end in disaster!

I’ll go on! There are those of us who believe God has a huge part to play, the determinists shout we have no choice and the populous propound free-will etc.. The point that I’m painfully attempting to highlight is that none of the above regularly come together in order to dissect the true issue of - “What’s the big idea?” The resulting strain on one’s intellect gently escorts the bewildered back to their respective camps videre vacui; this includes the Globalist, I might add..

As an IT Developer, I’ve spent the past couple of years attempting to produce a replica of the human intellect; trying to artificially bring to life a near intelligence application of some commercial use. Each time that I take one step forward, via my own efforts or by an open-source route - I’m faced with another dimension in thinking.

For example, picture a cube in 3D space, once you add colour / shading to the object, this becomes four dimensional; does the cube make a noise / sound - that’s now 5D. Is the cube moving - 6D. Is the cube attached to anything / other objects - 7D.. The simple logical point that I’m illustrating here, is that the cube, as with humans, mankind, society etc.. has infinite dimensions.

Hopefully, I have many of the readers on this article in agreement; thus, I can now press-on to my next point, which is that many of these dimension are not actually real! For instance, do you remember the threat of ‘Acid Rain’, Avian Flu, nuclear fall-out, global warming, non-vaccination - I may argue? These are all examples of debatable dimensions in human thinking. Fake news, proxy wars, cold wars, monitory policy, central bank collusion, weapons of mass-destruction - the list is never-ending!

So in the face of this unceasing adversity, great expectation and unknown result - “What’s the big idea?”

Around about this point in my previous articles, I like to answer my own question; don’t ask me why, I just like to present a solution. So in keeping with tradition, I’d initially like to state - that I don’t honestly know! With that said, I would also like to add that opening the discussion on a global basis, would move us in the right direction. Not a direction, in which each group asserts their correctness and superior argument, but one that attempts to exclude superstition, fake, falsehoods, and disinformation.

Picture this as a Neo-Republic-Anti-Propagandic movement, where only complete agreement to the possible of future dimensions make the News / head-lines and /or thought process of the masses. In short order, this would isolate the bad actors in the Global community, paving way to free-thinkers, new concepts and most importantly provide a clear platform to the best of human intelligence to come together, in a bid to answer the title to my article.

I would postulate that given the spiraling trend of ideas / counter ideas and spin; this will ultimately result in the increase of resentment, mistrust, friction in all groups; ending in a cataclysmic event for the upper echelons - a trend that history has been kind enough to provide.

In summary, I would like to suggest that given our current societal state, it is more effective and productive to all agree upon - what is not right, as oppose to attempting to clarify - what is! Yes a backward, strange way of thinking, but completely valid and arguably more workable than the contrast.

Not an important subject, a topic that doesn’t include you, your life or the people around you? Then you’ve already given your influence away, your ideas have now been siloed and you can now about-face and rejoin your favoured group to debate a song that will never truly be heard above the masses.
