Mods 4 Dead 2
Left 4 Dead 2 is a solid Valve game, as most are, and is yet another franchise that will never get a third game, unfortunately. The game’s pretty old, but it holds up great.
With a solid campaign, that may not be the longest, but it’s fun, replayable and you can play it with pals. It has competitive multiplayer if you’re into that too and some different game modes that I haven’t really tried that are probably cool. There’s also the survival mode which is pretty fun.
The main point that makes the game worth the money is the mods. There are... a LOT of mods. Custom campaigns, survival maps, thousands of skins for each gun, each character, each item and each enemy in the game. There’s custom sounds, music and just everything. Everything and anything is mod-able.
With solid gameplay, dozens of weapons and the potential for hundreds of hours of gameplay, the game is definitely worth checking out, plus, it isn’t that expensive nowadays, or just get it on sale for like... $2 or however much it’ll be.
Plus, if all of that wasn’t convincing enough, the game also comes with all of Left 4 Dead one. Like- for free. Just added in. The maps, guns, characters, campaign, survival maps, enemies. Just, ALL of Left 4 Dead one. For free. So, it’s two games for one with no extra price. If you can pick that up for a few dollars on a Steam sale, do it.
I Give Left 4 Dead 2 an 8/10.
It’s just an all around solid and really greatly made game. It’s fun, simple, replayable and well designed. Pick it up if you get the chance or don’t have it already.
I'd take Left 4 Dead 3 over any other Valve game right now. So many good times with the first 2.
