Discontinuing Daily Rescue Time Reports!

in blog •  6 years ago

After realizing that my daily rescuetime reports aren't really of any value to anyone but myself I've decided to discontinue doing them as a daily post. Instead rather than creating a boring, daily post outlining what I'm doing (seeing as how no one really cares anyways) I'll focus on coding stuff and creating posts that are more useful or full of information. While the rescuetime reports initially helped me stay on task it has degenerated into dreading what my chart would look like daily and frankly getting stressed out over the output on what is essentially friendly spyware seems silly.

I apprecaite those who were interested in my rescuetime reports (like, 2 of you) and will try and remain productive in spite of myself. Stay tuned for more fun folks..!

Hey Klye. If you want to stay motivated for staying productive (which is difficult, i know myself hahahaha) consider helper methods like a small apps where you can tick of stuff, or just end the (working) day with a todo list for tomorrow.

Working with small lists really help me to stay focussed and at least "know" what to do, whether I actually do it or not :)

I found this app (don't use it myself) but something like this could help nudge into productivity direction

You're probably onto something here man..!

Been feeling a bit overwhelmed with tasks lately which in turn stifles productivity.. Perhaps making lists that are humanly manageable is a good start.. Can't be worse than it is now, just causing myself anxiety.

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Thanks for dropping by. :)

Sometimes you need to adjust your strategy along the way. I have one question as a backup witness?

How much block you can validated every months to be position 21?

Posted using Partiko Android

A rank 21 witness would create roughly 48 blocks a day at roughly 1.134 STEEM per a block for a total of 54.432 STEEM earned a day.. Or creating 1440 blocks a month averaging about 1632.96 STEEM earned a month.

This rule appy for all backup witnesses from 21 to 100?

Nope.. You can use https://steemdb.com witness list to see how many blocks they get by clicking on their names, going to witness, then blocks.

At rank 78 I create 8 blocks a day.

Smart move.

Aye laddy.

I don't usually check my feed, so I didn't see your reports...but I just saw this message where you sound a little demoralized... Cheer up. Hugs!

Not sure if demoralized is the right term.. A bit disenchanted maybe..! Unsure really.

Well, it gave me something to upvote, and confirm that you were still alive.
