Which is the largest Telescope?

Two identical telescope called Keck I and Keck II are the largest reflecting telescope in the world. each has segmented mirror 10m (33feet) in diameter. the telescope are on mauna kea. a mountain in hawaii.

The Telescope is an optical observatory which stand under a large dome with shutters. The dome and the shutters protect the telescope from the weather. motors and precision gear keep the telescope pointed in the desired direction as the earth rotates. Observatory use two principal kinds of optical telescope.

Reflecting telescope and refracting telescopes. Reflecting telescope uses curve mirror a set of such mirrors to focus light, and refracting telescope uses a system of lense.
