The Right Way to Start a Blog in 2020

There is a wrong and a right way to start a blog in 2020. Most experts will tell you to sign up for Bluehost hosting at only $2.99/month and connect it to a free WordPress site. This is a minimal cost to set up your new venture and for the affiliate it’s an easy $65 commission.

Then the guru will tell you that to make money from your blog you need an email list. Then they’ll promote to you an email software like GetResponse or Aweber that starts at $15/month to store a mere 1,000 email contacts.

That’s not a bad setup but there are other features they aren’t telling you about, like sales funnels and course creation. Next thing you know you’re being told to shell out $99/month on Clickfunnels and another $29/month to host your course on teachable. Before you know it you are at $144.95/month.

The Right Way to Start a Blog in 2020 -All in 1 Option

I know what you’re thinking; but I don’t need all that stuff right now. This may be true but if you are sold on the right way to start a blog in 2020 to earn real money, then you will be open to better options.

Starting from the beginning you should have the big picture in mind. I have seen all too often blogs that were not thought out and later down the road have to shell out a ton of money for an overhaul.

Your best bet is to set yourself up on an all in 1 platform like Builderall. It has everything you need to be successful at marketing/blogging with over 25 tools. I am an affiliate for Builderall but I proudly designed this blog and other websites using their tools.

Builderall currently has 5 plans to choose from. They have a free plan, Builder plan for $19.90, Marketer plan for $29.90, Essential plan for $49.90 and Premium plan for $69.90/month. Each plan offers a little more than the next. I’ll discuss the Essential and Premium plans as they include WordPress 3 Step Integration.

The Tools

Hosting – Builderall has hosting included for all plans. The Essential plan allows you to connect 10 domains and the Premium plan 15. You can host unlimited subdomains. (Competitor – BlueHost $2.99/month)

Responsive websites – If you just need a regular website without a blog you can design one with Builderall’s Cheetah responsive website builder. It is a drag and drop system that allows you to fully customize to all your needs. (Competitor – Wix $27/Month)

Responsive Funnels – Sales funnels allow you to promote products or services to a prospective lead by collecting their email information to follow up. Even when your customer is in the buying faze you can upsell or downsell depending on what the user has chosen. Funnels are absolutely necessary for scaling your business. (Competitor – ClickFunnels $99/Month)

Email Marketing – Builderall includes an email auto-responder so you can communicate with your fans/leads as much as you would like. You can store 10,000 emails with the Essential plan and unlimited emails with the premium plan! (Competitor ConvertKit $119/month to store 10,000 leads)

Unlimited Magazine Builder – You can design a digital magazine in Builderall for yourself or your clients. It’s another way to get leads and expand your business. Living Life. Digital has a magazine featuring a different online entrepreneur each month. This feature is only available in the Premium plan. (Competition – Flipsnak – plans start at $14/month)

E-Learning – This allows you to design a site for your digital courses. Instead of paying teachable hosting fees and a percentage of sales, you can keep all of the profits yourself. If you built a loyal fan base why send them to a 3rd party site when you can keep them on your own platform? This feature is only available in the Premium plan. (Competition – Teachable $29/month.)

WordPress Integration – There’s no denying WordPress is the king of blogging. Builderall allows you to easily connect a blog to your websites homepage or a sales funnel to your blog with an easy three step integration. This is huge! You can have the best of both worlds all in one platform.

I am just scratching the surface here with what Builderall has to offer and at $69.90/ month you can’t go wrong. If you were to purchase all of the tools listed above you would be shelling out $290.99/month and that is for the basic pricing.

Affiliate Marketing

Wait! There’s more. As you probably know by now affiliate marketing is the #1 income earner for most blogs. You will need top notch products and services that you believe in to promote on your blog. For me and this site, it is Builderall. Luckily for me and you they have an incredible affiliate program. With every paid plan that someone signs up for using your link you earn 100% commission the first month. Each month after that you earn 30% commission. Not only that but you earn 30% commission for the users that sign up under your signups as well. This is known as a 2 tier affiliate system not MLM. This affiliate program is free regardless of which plan you choose.

Now that you are aware of the wrong and right way to start a blog in 2020, it’s a no brainer which platform you should use. Check out all the plans at builderall.com. Feel free to reach out at [email protected] if you have any questions. I am more than happy to walk you through the WordPress integration.
