Oh, I nearly forget to tell you.....it must have slipped my mind...

Lucy never slept in my bed last night.

Which was bloody annoying.... But I managed to get through it..

She was otherwise tied up with events and circumstance.
She's just got home now, actually.

She was in jail overnight!!!!
Yes, really....!
(I already knew where she was after she called me late last night.)

She went to help someone, and got roped into a problem that wasn't hers - but then it became hers, when 'certain officialdom' became very annoying, and tried some bullying tactics on her and her friend... . Ooops.

So they took her to cool off.... Well, more than cool off, actually.

Was I worried?

Yes, I must admit. Very.

The thought of an 'angry Lucy' in a cell with innocent criminals, did give me cause for concern.
Concern for her cell mates, not her - obviously.

She's back now, safe and sound..... Not sure about her 'overnight friend's' well beings, though...

" If you weren't here to come home to, " She said to me, " I wouldn't have paid any money, and stayed in for a couple of weeks, no problem. " (Things work very differently here).
