It's the day before my birthday but I don't really feel like celebrating it tomorrow. What's the point of celebrating every year till you eventually die? You're basically celebrating yourself to death. And typical 25th birthdays would be a herd of friends going to a random pub and drinking themselves to oblivion and singing "the song" to make the birthday guy feel good. That's the typical story of every other city adult kid. So why be that guy?
I know, I know, the blog has been negative so far but it's the truth man. What's the point of celebrating birthdays? Can't you just spend that money in helping someone in need or out on the streets. It would totally make their day. Life is all about giving, isn't it?
Okay, I saved myself by using the charity angle there.. The real reason I'm not celebrating my brithday this time is because I've fallen out with a lot of my good friends because of commitments I couldn't keep up. I've learned to say no and I must say I'm getting wiser by the year (although I'm still pretty dumb). I've learned to prioritize my life and this means cutting ties with friends who I have known for years. Oh man! I'm feeling emotional now. The reason I'm doing this is because I feel they become a drag after a while if they don't see life the way you do. You've got to move on at the end of the day. (I hope I got all the prepositions correct)
In case you guys still haven't figured out what this blog is about, well!! It's going to be about my daily life and how I go about it in the miniscule span of time I will partake in this universe..
.
Cheers.
Cobi..
P. S. That's my pen name, nickname, etc.. I like being called cobi and I don't know why. Have a great weekend guys. I'll see you tomorrow.
Just do it. Go out, even if by yourself and do what you like to do. You'll probably find that it's not so bad, you might even enjoy being off by yourself as enjoyable. Have a good birthday.
