This is #3 from the 10 Key Events in My Life. Losing some kilos seems to be one of the most important things for my personal development and completion.
It is an obligation to be in fit
Being in fit is not just having a nice 'beach' body.

It is a culture to take a proper health of your body. The fitter your body, the better feeling to 'wear' it. This raises your self-esteem and makes you completion. But of course
When a person doesn't feel good about his body and talks he should lose some weight but has no results, this means he has an inner conflict. It is very difficult to reach a state of feeling perfect with your mind and body but if you don't pursue this it is sure you will never achieve it.
It is one of the easiest and most satisfying things
What is the first picture that comes to your mind when you hear Losing Weight? Maybe this?
As a person who lost efficiently some weight and didn't suffer from the 'yo-yo' effect, I guarantee you that if your 'Losing Weight' looks like this, you will be unfit soon.
The perception created by the media and the fitness industry for getting in shape is a bullshit. They make us think that the only way to get fit is going to the gym and spending some money on equipment and additives.
Of course, it is easy to get motivated because of all new stuff you buy and looking fit people in the gym. But why most of the people fail to be persistent?
Because they do not like going to the gym.
And it is completely normal. It is impossible everybody likes this place. For some people, it becomes boring despite the initial motivation.
Training and getting in shape should be fun!
Finding a physical activity that you makes you feel happy and satisfied at the same time means having no problems with your shape the rest of your life.
Running
Running turned out to be my passion almost five years ago. At first, I started jogging with my friends. They often found excuses not going for a run. The moment when I started to run alone was the moment I realized I will get in fit.
I was 14 years old and definitely didn't like my appearance. It was the reason for my low self-esteem.
At the beginning, it was hard to me to run even a kilometer. Now I am training for marathons. There are 3 things to succeed in getting in shape.

Just find out what physical activity you love doing and have fun. It is crucial to love what you are doing for achieving persistence. No matter you run, play football, go the gym, dancing or doing street workout the most important thing is doing it with passion and a smile on your face.
At first, I started running just to lose some weight. I turned out to be something I like. So now I am running long distances (8-20 km). I have never had a specific diet. The diet is important and can help you but it is not needed to be a maniac and count every single calorie you accept.
