Ahhh... but there's the rub. Getting eyes to your content in the first place... Increasing engagement with people who otherwise would never see your feed right? That's the aim.
Is it the right approach to go out and look for other people's blogs and make comments on their posts, hoping to develop some engagement through what they have going on and hope that engaging on their blog brings them back to your own eventually?
But some of the most interesting people to engage with get 200 comments on a post, so wading through those looking for something worthy of responding to can get old.
So where are the dolphins and orcas and whales going looking for new content that interests them? Are they just like me? Going to the Hot and Trending lists? Or do they not bother to look for new content at all? Do they go to their wallet to see who transferred them 0.01 SBD with a link to a post? (I've tried it a couple of times, if we're being honest)
So I guess the follow up question is, how do you get those eyes to your own content in order to create the possibility of a follow? What motivates a "power user" to spend time with the minnows?
Thanks for your time and consideration!!
Oh, forgot to mention, the avatar is the logo for the Nashville Predators NHL hockey team. Hometown favorites, and my son's obsession. Haha. Glad you like it.
