A difficult period in life

Something has happened. You have lost your direction, confidence, and feel thrown off track. If you have ever experienced something similar, you will probably agree that it feels like diving into a pit of doubts and worries.

In addition to the unpleasant events happening around you, you start doubting yourself. You see your weaknesses, ignore your strengths, and get stuck in pessimistic thoughts.

With time, this pit disappears, and you return to your normal life. However, there is a tool that can help expedite the process of getting back to normal life. It is a gratitude list to yourself.

That's right, you need to take a notebook and find time during the day to sit down and reflect. Reflect and write down at least one or two things that you are proud of. The qualities that you value in yourself.

The only requirement is to be as specific as possible. Did you remember a friend's birthday and found the strength to call and congratulate them? Write it down.

Did you stay late at work and complete some of tomorrow's tasks? Write it down. Did you make your partner happy? Write it down and praise yourself for it.

Keeping a gratitude list helps shift your focus. It puts the pit on pause and allows you to concentrate on all the good things you have done during the day or week.

By thinking about it and writing it down, you extend a helping hand to yourself. And the process of psychological recovery gets accelerated. Try using this in your everyday life and enjoy the results.
