I use a maximum of three domains per shared hosting account and I have different email, Facebook, Twitter and other social network accounts for every blog in my network. I never link them together and I always use unique content on each blog because I want my blogs to rank, and spun content is usually harder to rank and will piss off visitors if they found out that you provide spun content on your blog.
You should never post backlinks to your money site immediately after you have created a blog. You need to build up the Page and Domain authority with backlinks and quality content. I try to post at least 10 articles on each blog and reach a Domain authority not less than 15 and a Page authority not less than 25 before I start to link out to my money sites.
