Weekends and Whirlwinds

Well, I've managed to convince myself to start another Monday at the office, despite my reservations and hesitations. Today is another day in the never-ending exercise of convincing myself to continue participating in something that is slowly draining all my energy away (though, I shouldn't complain too hard... my job is interesting and it pays well).

It's hard to get back into sitting in front of a computer and working on "important, productive" projects though, when all I wanna do is lay in the sunshine with the dogs, or play some squash, or go climbing or whatever. Maybe I'm just not psyched on working today. Some months / weeks it just feels like too much.. Maybe it's because it's summer time, and it's appealing to just spend more time moving and playing. Or MAYBE, just MAYBE, we're all spending WAY too much time working for no good reason.

So here's a not-so-silent salute to the weekend. I miss you already, and look forward to our next rendezvous.
