We are taking a trip with the kids to a spot that we quite liked 6 years ago. That's before they were born and it is interesting to see how the place has modernized and also become run down in other areas.
It speaks to the notion of progress or die. There is rarely staying constant. So given these two options, striving to make progress is the better option.
I would like this hotel more if it were better maintained. They are doing upgrading works in the other wing but this wing will be done later. It badly needs some repairs - particularly the walls, floors and toilet.
Two more nights and we are back home which is also a good break with all the comforts.
