For people who are not conversant with content Creation who signed up on Steemit because of the enticing rewards, learning the Intricacies of Content creation is always an Uphill task

It is not everyone who has the patience to really make out time to Invest in building a great Content culture.

However the truth is that in a Platform like this that has thousands of daily active accounts, a top notch content culture is one ammunition that you need in your bag

Enough with the excuses that Steemit does not reward quality content, It is Important for you to show the community why you should get the rewards you so desire. Even though we complain that the system is flawed, making no considerable effort to bring something of high quality here will not help matters

I see people who write one sentence post that leaves me wondering what they stand to gain by populating this Platform with Uninspiring material. But enough of the rant let me move on to the real purpose of this post

I am writing this post for people who have a desire to produce content worth reading but need more help on refining it to have a great delivery

For most people who get Inspiration for a post, editing content may not be an option, most just race of on their keyboards believing at every line that they are producing something truly remarkable

But most times the post in quetion needs a little bit of work before it becomes the masterpiece you so desire, this is where the backspace key comes into play

Editing content may be quite emotional for some people as they become emotionally attached to the words they have penned down, but the truth is that for your post to really hit home with your readers you have to master the art od editing

Now at this junction You might be asking yourself, why bother going through all this ? . People hardly read my posts and the people who do , have not been complaning about my content

The truth is that paying attention to this will make you a better writer over time and even if you are not in Steemit for the Money, it is still Important to create a culture of discpline in whatever you are doing, Discipline in one area of your Life always creates discipline in other areas o you Life.

I always tell people

Anything you put your name on must be excellent

Even though it is true that perfectionism can kill what the content was meant to deliver but that does not give you and excuse too produce half baked content

One thing you should keep in mind when editing a post is the Goal of the post. What is the original idea that Insired the post. That is what will inspire your audience when they are done reading

The purpose of the post should be clear from the beginning so that people will know what they are investing their precious time on

You also have to personalize your message. My blog is not the only blog on this platform or the internet that is teaching people about online branding,but my content cannot be compared with that of others because it is built around experiences that are unique to me

You have to infuse your content with what only you can provide, that is what will seperate you from others who make similar content like you. Building an Authority in your niche is something that is very Important

Another thing is eliminating unnecessary words. if your writing tone distracts people from the message you are trying to pass across then your content will be less effective

Editing is the time where you extract the value of the post and even though it is not easy, it is a skill that gets better with practice

The summary of all this is that don't waste words and time
