Yay. After not even having my car for 48 hours I managed to destroy the tire. I never destroyed anything on any car before. And it had to happen on my first car the second day. I was just gonna help grandparents decide a tv and speakers to buy and ship it home to them with the new car. Well, their driveway is very tight and there are stone edge on both sides. After going up and left to the neighbour, and then starting to back the car, I managed to hit the left side of the tire to that stone. It was like it took a bite. The first level of gum is gone and you can see the second layer if you touch the loose gum part.
4500 NOK lesson and lots of time wasted. Will get it fixed tomorrow in a shop. Like I didnt shit enough money already the last half year. Good thing my wallet is not raped thanks to cryptocurrency. But still. Brand new tires, destroyed second day. Could have bought a new phone instead. Next time I will put my head out the window to look when going near any stone edges like this for sure!
After calling several tire repair shops... Its high season and these sport tires for 20 inch rims are not very common. Finally called Tesla and was recommended to call the tire repair shop vianor. Half an hour drive. When I came there they said definitely tires must be changed, cannot fix it. They had the tires in another shop 20 minutes from there. I came there and waited while they changed tires on a couple cars before me. Then I got the bad news: The tires in the back are wider than in the front, and we had checked the rear tires. So they didnt have the front tire available.
Front tire is ordered and I have to go back again tomorrow to buy it and repair it. It was 300 NOK extra to get shipping. Gotta love accidents like this. All the waste of time and energy and stress is way worse than the chunk of money it eats.

Yeah. I have to hope the repair shop get it tomorrow and I will have to drive far to get there and wait for them to fix it, pay, charge the car, and go back home. Hopefully it will not be too late. Because I have a friend who want to visit me for saw movies marathon :D That would be fun. What will not be fun if is they get the tire too late or they dont get it at all and I have to wait til saturday or even worse, monday.
