Its a late lunch due to hectic 24/7 duty as a full time mom..i cooked pakbet (assorted veggies) for our lunch.
Here are the following ingredients:
3pcs. Gloves of garlic
1pc small onion
1pc magic sarap
1pc pepper
1/4 kilo of ground pork
1/4 kilo of string beans
1/4 kilo lady finger
1/4 kilo of squash
First cooked the garlic, onion, ground pork
Second i add 1 small glass of hot water then i add squash and string beans i let it simmer for 5 mins. I add hot water instead a water from faucet because i make veggies crunchy and crispy..
I now add lady finger and i cover it let it simmer for 5mins. And i add sauce soy and magic sarap.
And finally this is my OWN VERSION of Pakbet..
Other might say its different my original Pakbet but for me it my way of cooking, i onlh select the ingredients because i dont want other veggies on my menu.My husband taste it yummy in a simple way i made our lunch awesome!
