Tjoet Nyak Meutia (Keureutoe, Pirak, North Aceh, 1870 - Alue Kurieng, Aceh, October 24, 1910) is Indonesia's national hero from Aceh. He is buried in Alue Kurieng, Aceh. He became the national hero of Indonesia based on Presidential Decree No. 107/1964 in 1964.
Regarding his childhood, Cut Nyak Meutia was born in 1870 in Pirak area, North Aceh. His father named Teuku Ben Daud Pirak a ulubalang (government leader) Pirak area and his mother named Cut Jah. Cut Meutia is the only daughter in the family. He has four brothers namely Teuku Cut Beurahim, Teuku Muhammadsyah, Teuku Cut Hasan and Teuku Muhammad Ali.
