Perfect Convo Discussion in CHFI (Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator) class--- Ballot Security

So as you all may know I am a student at a trade school for Information Systems and Security, I am almost finished with 2 years and I will graduate with a associates degree. I am currently in CHFI where we are learning just security and how to read and gain logs on a computer. Today's homework was online and we have to add to a discussion and today's discussion was "Ballot Security".... My class hates that I constantly talk about cryptocurrency and blockchain, It makes them sick they say!! well, I got a chance to shove it down their throats just a little more ;)

Here is what I wrote in that discussion.

"OH Boy!!! Just the subject I wanted to talk about, By the way, my part of the discussion is going on steemit.com.

So elections have had a problem for a long time, that problem is consensus and verification of that consensus. There is this old problem called The Byzantine General Problem. The problem was that he could not get a full consensus of all armies that encamped a city on all 4 sides and each army is miles apart from each other.... the order is to attack at dawn and he sends out a rider to tell the other armies. There are many possibilities why this would fail, the messenger is a trator...he gets attacked by enemy forces, whatever the case may be, a number of things can go wrong. So when dawn appears only 2 sides of the 4 attack causing a failed attempt at taking over the city.

I bring this up cause we have this same problem in elections, and you know what would fix that? I am sure you all guessed what I am going to say...BLOCKCHAIN!! we can now have full consensus over the elections and without a doubt know that the elections where never riged or touched.
