YVOIRE WITH THE PUPPY

in blog •  8 years ago  (edited)

Not too long ago, I took a quick trip down to Yvoire.

Yvoire is a quaint little French town just off the border of Switzerland. Since I had a strong desire for fillet du perche (one of Yvoire’s specialities) it was quickly decided I would pop down for a lunch and a stroll around. I grabbed the pup and we vroom-vroomed down there, jumped out the car, walked around the tiny town before heading to lunch.

Middle Ages, Yvoire was originally a fishing village, located just off the Lac Leman.

Today, it is a tourist town, since the town was kept mainly as it was many years ago.

There are little restaurants, terrasses, creperies and ice cream stalls everywhere.

let me tell you, all of them are amazing.  Course, this also makes it very difficult to pick one to settle down on.

Before having lunch, we decided to go sit by the lake and enjoy the beautiful sun rays.

Yvoire has a little harbor, as you can see.

We walked along the the boats and plumped ourselves down on the sun-warmed rocks and just looked out onto the lake.

I was wearing a simple sleeveless cream top with spot embroidery from ASOS , a plain black bodycon Mango skirt, these dark royal green Repetto flats (I told you I had them in every color!), my beloved dark royal green Prada bag and the simple versatile Ray Ban aviators.

Even though was a soft breeze keeping us fresh and cool, Lima was getting a little bit hot, so she decided to go for a quick refreshing dip.

She surely felt much better afterwards, and spread herself out on a big rock so that the heat would dry her up in no time.Smart pup, that one!

We dried up (well, some of us did!) and headed back into the tiny town for lunch… but I’ll take you along for that experience a bit later on.

Love,

Rosalina

Yvoire seems like a wonderful place. I love the pictures. :)

Wow, what lovely legs ................................does Lima have. ^_^.
I live in the UK, but always take my dog with me when we go to France, as they are more dog friendly then here. From Euro-star to restaurants to hotels. I can take my Rex no hassle.

yes, its much more difficult in the UK, especially going to restaurants. Here in mainland Europe, no problemo!

very nice outfit :)

Lima is such a cutie

I love the little dog. She seems to be enjoying watching what is going on in the last shot.

Looks beautiful there! Nice pictures :)
