[Blog] In this life nobody owes you nothing...

and you don't own anything to anyone either.

I think we are expecting too much from the people around us. Everyday I see around me people asking for things, like they are entitled for them. And you say them no, they get upset, they get cracky and they throw you the line "Come on man, it doesn't cost you a thing."

In this life nobody owes you nothing. Not even your parents, after a certain age. So why do some people expect things to be handed to them? Just because they seem easy?

I live in a country devastated by communism for almost 50 years, but the after effect of people's mentality still remains 30 years after the communism fell. People are still thinking the state should help them in various ways. People still think that the state should give them housing, jobs and money.

I look around me and I see the all over the world now. The instant gratification that the internet gave us has created the "Snowflake" mentality. Where we want things now and we want somebody else to pay for them.

Look at what happened in 2008. Who was to be blamed for the crysis. The banks. Of course. They were giving out credits like crazy. The poor people didn't knew what they were getting into.

We always try to avoid responsibility, we look for the quick rich scheme and we want everything to be handed over to us. There's no hard word anymore. There's no more grinding. People are just existing.

And I don't mind that. That's just natural selection. What I mind is when people are asking me things and they get upset when they don't get them.

Such a true article, you're right!
the power is in us!!

You gave a red pill @sstefan and it is a great thing what you said here, but most people don't like to be criticized and they will live with this bad mentality all their lives. Our country and the rest of the world would be in a much better situation if they use logic and more involvement to improve the economy instead of welfare programs. But mankind needed all the time the help of a big daddy like gods or the state but they are blind or hypocrites to admit this.
