Legalize it!

Drugs as troublesome as they may sometimes be also have some good in them. Some of the greatest music, paintings and philosophy have come from people who were high, maybe even sky high ;)

Drugs have been unfairly stigmatized as some kind of Devil's product. Yes there can be very harmful effects on humans and even more so with excessive use but the cocaine, marihuana, vodka etc. are innocent. They are either produced to be be what they are or in the case of marihuana it's a plant. We could probably lick white and red mushrooms and get high like the deer are known to do, does that mean we must ban poisonous mushrooms?ofcourse not.
The ban is not about drugs. The ban is about the humans. The ban is the result of moral, religious, medical, cultural and other considerations by the ruling classes. Curiously though they refuse to ban alcohol. Surely there is not much reason to ban beer but what about 40%+ Vodka. You drink a couple shots of that and you can't walk straight, yet it's perfectly legal to buy?
This raises interesting questions. How can it be that one thing is legal and another illegal even though they both intoxicate. It also goes to show that the politicians that passed such flawed legislation didn't understand what they were doing in the first place. Such things should be left in the professional hands of Doctors. Let Doctors decide what to prescribe to their patients under their supervision.

We must also understand that Parliamentarians aren't Gods. They don't know everything. Most of them have expert experience in only 1 maybe 2 fields, usually those they studied and or worked in. Many Parliamentarians have a background in Finance, Real Estate, some are Drs, Historians, Philosophers and some come from big Business. Unless someone has a medical background they cannot be experts on a medical subject (that includes me). The only other expert besides the Medical type is the user. Those of us who have drank alcohol, smoked weed etc.
Afterall by using the substance you can learn a lot about it. It's like asking someone who never ate a apple to describe it's taste, it's impossible. He might say well it's sweet, what the fuck is sweet?, a mango is sweet too but it tastes nothing like an apple. Beer gets you drunk too but it tastes nothing like vodka etc.

Dealers don't care about the law. They don't care about morality, they care about money. Illegality provides a opportunity for the criminally minded to enter and make massive profits in a short period of time. Especially organized criminals are known to be very violent and dangerous.

Money is power. With money you can buy nice things, guns, cars, impress women, bribe the police etc.
You can also hire new people to join your group. The best thing that we can do is to separate drugs from criminality. Legalize and regulate them. Let the Corporations step in and deal with this on the business and manufacturing end and let the Doctors deal with it at the consumer end. You never see Heineken and Budweiser sending hitmen to kill eachother. As law abiding businesses they don't need to, they can use lawyers to represent them in court. Yes big business is known to tax evade etc. and I don't expect this Industry if ever 100% legal to be any different as it's the same manager culture. But when it comes to children they will absolutely follow the law. They will not market to children, sell to children etc. as it would immediately bring the condemnation from the public and possible prosecution. If you want to protect the children and drug users from harm there is no better way than legalization and regulation.
