This Is Why iPhone Was Made And The Reason Will Make Windows Lovers Furious

The iPhone is arguably one of the most prestigious product since the last decade, with its landmark 10th Anniversary due in just couple of days.

The first iPhone was introduced by Steve Jobs in Jan 2007, and it launched on June 29 of that year with many individuals tenting outside Apple Inc stores to get their hands on the iPhone
For those curious what spark of inspiration cause the iPhone to be created, they’ve currently been given a staggering insight by Co-Creator Scott Forstall.

The Engineer disclosed the Apple Inc smartphone was born out of Steve Jobs hating a man who worked at Microsoft.

At Computer History Museum in Calif., Scott Forstall gave an eye opening insight into the beginning of Apple’s iPhone project.
"Steve hated this guy at Microsoft, said Forstall
He added, “Anytime he had any kind of social interaction therewith guy, he'd come p***** off.”

This unknown Microsoft employe wasn't Steve Jobs’ old rival Gates , however a spouse of a friend of Steve Jobs wife Laurene Powell Jobs.

Scott Forstall said because the couples were within the same social circles they'd usually encounter one another at parties and functions.

The crucial moment came when Steve Jobs was told by the Microsoft worker that the Redmond-based firm had "solved computing" with its tablet computer.

These ran a special version of Microsoft's Windows Operating System, were smaller and lighter than laptops and featured a touch display.

But owners required to use a stylus to use the device.

Steve Jobs bumped into the Microsoft worker during the weekend, and once he came back to the office on Monday Forstall said he set free "a set of expletives.”

Apple was then set to compete Microsoft, by developing their own touchscreen device that used fingers besides a stylus.

According to Scott Forstall, Steve Jobs said: "First thing is, they are idiots, you do not use a stylus, when you are born with 10 stylus”. @tech-trends Nice

The project started off on building a Microsoft tablet rival and Scott Forstall was tasked to lead Software for the project.

But it was in 2004 during a key moment when Scott Forstall and Steve Jobs visited a coffee bar that the project turned its focus from Tablets to Phones.

Scott Forstall said Steve Jobs had noticed many folks in the coffee bar using cellphones however they didn't seem to be pleased with their mobiles.

This appeared to be a chance for the Apple legend Jobs, and he asked Scott Forstall whether their touchscreen project can be shrunk to a phone size display.

That was the moment when Apple’s Project named Purple evolved into the iPhone.

It was a “Herculean" effort to cut back the dimensions of the device to a phone size.

But when the project was completed Scott Forstall said he knew Steve Jobs’ vision for the gadget that had been right.

"There was no question,this is how phones need to be created.”, said Scott Forstall.
