Best Time to Post: Final Results

I have been trying to find out what the best time was to post. With Streemian I scheduled my posts at 4 different times to see what the different results would be.

The Theory

Because my posts are in English it seemed like the best approach would be to focus on the US and get as much views as possible. As I see it, more views equals a larger chance of getting upvotes. I chose timeslots and took into account that people might be at work from 9AM to 5PM and stopped steeming around 12PM.

The Final Results

As you can see the post from step 1 and 2 clearly got more views and attention than the other 2 posts.

Conclusion

Although it is close I am going to say that I think that the best time to post is around 3AM CEST/9PM EDT/6PM PDT, this post got the most views, upvotes and comments directly after it was posted. If your post does not get noticed after 3 hours of posting then the chances of getting a large amount of views and upvotes are very slim.
Although step 2 did very well compared to step 1, the number of views of step 2 grew over time while the number of views of step 1 were almost instantly.
For Europeans however there is one major drawback. You can schedule your post with Streemian if you are not willing to stay up that late but you will not be able to reply to the comments your posts receive until the next morning. This makes directly interacting with the people who took the time to comment on your post very difficult.

Additional notes

I know that there are more things that have to be taken into account. The number of followers and their timezone, the content of your post and chances are that if you did this experiment yourself you might have different results. But for me this has given me some insight into what is a good time to post for me and what is not. I hope you have found this experiment as interesting as it was for me.

If anything my advise to everyone on Steemit is to experiment for themselves with posting at different timeslots and see what the results are. This way you can decide for yourself what the best time to post is for you.
I will only be posting at the 3AM CEST and the 3PM CEST timeslots for now and probably repeat the experiment at a later time

Yes, I agree. But it feels nice to have at least an indication. Now I have seen what posting at these different time slots does for me. As I said I am not finished yet :)

Yes that is the major takeaway. Experiment for yourself what time is the best for you. Streemian is a great tool for scheduling. Let me know when you are going to try. I am very interested in you results

Great analysis @xervantes. I found it the best between 12:00 and 14:00 @ CEST.

You should continue posting at regular times and collect the data and post an update!
