Under Promise - Over Deliver.
When you are working with a client the last thing you should ever do is promise the world, keep your projections and their expectations realistic. The best way of keeping a client happy is to make commitments and then to far exceed them. For instance if you can grow their Instagram account by 100-200+ new followers per month, don't promise them that, instead offer a growth of 25-50 new followers per month, then when you far exceed that they are more than happy, and you are also covering yourself for any hiccups in the process.
Obviously, don't under-promise by too much, they may feel your services are not as good as what your competition 'promise' so it is important to use some discretion. By doing this you are much more likely to retain them as a long-term repeat customer, rather than a one-off.
