BLOGGING TIPS to inspire you

When it comes to blogging things have changed drastically in the last 5  years, but one thing remained the same from the start, and that’s  “Content is King.”  The thing about blogging is that it is hard and exhausting work if you  don’t like to write or don’t like to write about that topic. If you are  in it just for the money, well then you are probably making your life  harder because you might be doing something you don’t like. Putting that  aside, let me tell you a few tips I received when I first started  blogging, those are the most important aspects of blogging and should be  the pillar of your knowledge about it:

  1. Content – Quality and Frequently
  2. Promotion – Everywhere, but not anyhow
  3. Hard Work and Knowledge

Content – Quality and Frequently

For one most of the people who own a blog or plan to own one know  that content is the most important thing of the whole site. The site can  be as ugly as the Notepad on windows, but if the content is worth  reading, people will read it. This is why you need to find a way to provide quality content to your readers.

Promotion – Everywhere, but not anyhow

The second part of the content related guideline is frequent updates.  Yes besides posting quality articles/content you will also have to post  it frequently. Having a constant post publishing date is something you  should work on. Remember the blog replaces a newspaper, if you look closely most of the  blogs do look like newspapers/magazines, this is why you need to bring  out something consistently. If you fail to do so others will beat you to  it and take your place in the rankings for your niche. When it comes to the second point, promotion is a bit trickier. It is,  of course, useless without good content, but it is nevertheless  important as without any knowledge of your content, people won’t find  out about your blog. The best ways for promoting a blog are by posting in forums, using  social media or commenting on other blogs in a non-spam way. If you  are genuinely there (posting good helpful posts/comments) you will able  to create a trustworthy reputation online which will get your site  popular. You as a person need to remember that you are representing your  blog, your actions will be accredited to your blog, therefore being  nice and helpful to other users on forums and blogs will translate to  your blog being helpful and nice.

Hard Work and Knowledge

Number 3 is where most of the people fail when it comes to blogging. A  lot of people think that blogging and site making online is an easy  thing to do and that anyone could make big money with a blog, and that’s  where they are wrong. It will take you weeks or maybe months before you can start earning  something or even get a visitor. This all depends on how hard you will  work towards your goal.  Personally I think the best way to make a blog  is by planning it out:

  • Today- Will post x Posts
  • Tomorrow – Will post x Posts
  • The day after tomorrow- Will post x – 3 Posts but will promote the site on forums and blogs

Planning things out will help you a lot if you are a newbie to this whole industry. With those 3 points in mind, you should start expanding them, see what  works for your blog niche. Most of the blogs are different therefore  some things might work for some blogs great while they ruin others, so  don’t be afraid to try different things out, you never know you might  find a really good source of traffic which would mean that you can earn  more.
