I decided to help a friend, and loaded myself up with more bikes to restore.

I have a friend in the UK that needed a little help.

He is suffering with liver failure, and still wants to get around, though is a little weak, so I decided to sort him out with a small Yamaha tzr, and that is the blue one in the picture, it arrived this morning to me. The white Yamaha rd 50 mx also turned up at the same time, it only cost me $130 or £100, absolute bargain eh?.....

That leaves me with 3 Yamaha rd's to restore or finish restoring now. The tzr I will be tuning a little :-) and shipping 1800 miles across PL, Germany, France, the English channel and all the way to Bristol, to help my buddy out.

Spring is my joint busiest time of the year, even though we are not yet in spring, I have started a little early, and gone full on into restorations, before we have to do all the farming stuff, turning soil, weeding, planting seeds etc.

I also have the drive to repair, and a couple of miles of fence to put up, and a few fallen trees to sort out!!!!!

My internet time is going to be at a minimum for a while, as we also have to move back to the farm from our apartment, and that I will welcome with arms wide open, as I am definitely no longer cut out for town or city living.
It is so noisy when all I am used to is wild animals, people really are bloody loud and pretty ignorant.

I also picked up via the internet, a 1978 Suzuki gt125 and that arrives next week, plus a Honda xl500 r 1985 that I hope arrives this weekend, maybe tomorrow even, so you will have to excuse my not being around much, we are just super busy at the moment, and I can not see it changing anytime soon.

@shepz1 is wishing each and everyone of you a superb weekend, make a loved one smile, and have some fun time.

I know that my wife and I are going to need to move to a real town one of theses days, not looking forward to it at all after the last town we lived in. Just something about planes circling your neighbors house and the bull horn speakers "come out with your hand up", Never experienced that in Alaska, we did when we left for a few years. And while we may have lots of gun noise, and snowmobile noise, and four wheeler noise, it is still a lot nicer here than it was there.

I hear you regards that my friend, and am thankful I still have the marbles intact to be able to live in the country, and get this bro, the people who had the farm before us, died there, well not inside there, more in hospital, though until they died, they were in their late 90's, kind of gives you some perspective, does it not? If they could do it, I sure as can. :-)

It is finding that place, I am glad you have found it, my wife and I still wonder and search. I've been a wanderer for so long not sure I can stay in one place for more than 7 years, I'm not sure that I have ever stayed in the same place for 7 years, but still need to find that place to plant that final tree. It will have to be a fast growing variety.

I was you, I was like that, and then I just found it by mistake, just a random stumble onto something I never expected, though like anything, it is hard work, and at times easier to live in the town (in winter) but and a big but, maybe if I sort the road out instead of relying on gov, and put in better heating, then maybe, just maybe, next winter I stay put, or go to Thailand for a few months, during the cold spell. :-)

....see you then!

Got you on that one. :-)

Well! I guess I can help on the farm for a good working day of 8hours, and no more than that! 😂

A whole day, as in 24 hours pmsl. :-)

Dam i need to edit.. Hahaha

Gotta love busy season! I have a few projects lined up as well around the house. Looking forward to getting some work done!

Would be cool to work on bikes, maybe someday when I have more space lol

If ever you need one, give me a shout out lol, got loads of them here, maybe easier to ship if you did not live a zillion miles away, and yep, busy, busy, busy time. :-)

Top effort mate on helping out a friend. I would be pumped to get back to the piece and quite of the country. Thanks and you have a great time sorting out those bikes :-)

Got to be done, friends are friends for life, and yep, the countryside is the place to be, enough of cities and towns already.

as I am definitely no longer cut out for town or city living.

I'm the same...I grew p on a fram, then spent most of my decades in cities around the world (big cities).

Now I'm back in rural surroundings, and the thought of 'city living' again, kills me...
(5:50 am and awake with the sound of the cock crowing - it's great!)

Yep, nothing like waking up to nature, not some cunts stamping on the ceiling, and maybe, just maybe, see you next winter, I saw that other message, and I used to spend, this century, all my winters in Asia, and only waiting for my daughter to be able to hack it, not get sick, be immune by age, for her to come along for some anarchy fun. :-)

What a wanker, I shall hunt him or her down, and make them kneel before me, how dare they!!!!!!!!!

Well your still healthy enough that your body can keep up with your busy mind I am sure it won't be long before you find your way back....in the meantime I guess we'll have to settle for rainy day news.

I can find time for 1 post a day. :-)
